Great location
The street immediately outside was dirty sadly but that the councils responsibility.

We had a suite - big room and comfy bed, room decor and overall ambience very good. Pet friendly, but they charge an additional £25 per night and can't east in the bistro (only the bar area). Staff friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well without any annoying registration pages. Dinner was delicious.
We stayed in the room called 'Beachy Head' - the bathroom was very small and uncomfortable, loo seat was actually not clean, damaged and loose when we arrived. The shower was very good though. Strong smell of paint in the bathroom, yet taps and bathroom basin surround still in need of a refresh. No space at all to put toiletries/make up etc in bathroom. Parked in nearest car park (The Lanes) for less than 24 hours which was expensive (£44).

Location was great.
Third floor without elevator. The room was the far from reception.
