Great setting. Comfortable room. Good food and really pleasant staff. Within easy reach of Brighton by bus. Book a sea view room, they’ll be quieter.
Rooms at the back of the hotel are quite noisy with traffic. Would recommend booking a room overlooking the sea. I think they will be quieter.

Good breakfast selection. Hotel decorated nicely, bright and clean including our room. Good location for catching the bus into Brighton and other local places.
No lift, so struggled up the stairs sometimes after a long day out walking. There was a problem with the availability of various breakfast items on a few days. I didn't find the bed good for my back.

The staff were pleasant but the overall experience was hugely disappointing.
We left a day early as our room was tiny, there were ear plugs next to the bed (which is always a bad sign), it was sweltering and the overall experience was poor.
