The staff were super helpful. They allowed me a super early check in which was fabulous. The breakfast was a limited range but yummy and more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot and efficient. Plus, it was over a quiet hotel. No issues.
I had to reset my key card 3-4 times because being near my phone wiped it apparently. I discovered there was no bar fridge in the room which was pretty annoying. The bathroom had an odd smell. These were minor annoyances and I would happily stay there again.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Short walk in to Canary Wharf and the underground. Excellent breakfast. Very well served by public transport/uber.
My only complaint was the pillows were too soft but that’s just a personal preference, and more of an observation than a complaint.

All areas clean & tidy.
We were attending an event at the 02 and it was easy to get to the venue from the hotel via DLR/tube

For the price I was disappointed the room was so basic, we have stayed in other hotels around the area that were much nicer and for a cheaper price. E.g. The room had a really odd shower cubicle that was like being in a mobile home/caravan rather than a hotel.
Customer care was lacking, had to queue to check in and there was no hello and welcome from the staff, the person on the desk didn't even look up as we stood there waiting with no idea of how long it might take or apologise for the wait. The staff in general appeared completely disinterested in any kind of engagement with customers.
I found the bed very uncomfortable and it didn't seem to have a proper mattress, just a topper which I found really strange.
The hotel says it is opposite the Blackwell tunnel DLR & which it is but single travellers should just be aware that if you get off at this station you have to walk through an isolated and quiet underpass to get to the hotel (unless there is another route we were unaware of?). My husband and I felt uncomfortable walking through here after our night out so I would have felt very vulnerable on my own as you are completely hidden from view and there were clearly some drug dealers hanging around the area.
