Good value for money. Rooms were large. Grounds are nice. And great access for a walk along the canal.
At this price point £72. It was good value so no need to criticise anything. Expectations were exceeded for the price

There was a problem with the toilet but the staff were very helpful and sorted it straight away

Room was very comfortable and well maintained. Overall the hotel has a nice setting and is fairly well looked after (decorators were in during our stay). Staff were friendly.
The TV in the room wasn't connected to the internet so had no streaming services, and the WiFi connection in general was very poor. Had to pay a hefty additional fee for car parking on arrival (despite the hotel being in a very remote rural location) which wasn't totally clear when booking and made a significant difference to the overall cost of the stay, which would likely have influenced the decision about where to book had it been clearer.
