The food was delicious both evening meal and breakfast. Fantastic menu choice, top quality ingredients and super friendly staff.
We couldn’t fault anything at the property. Check in and out was easy. Good parking. Well kept grounds. The room (dog friendly) was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable.

It was nice to sit outside the ground-floor room, despite the very busy road close by.
We got a decidedly lukewarm welcome, which matched being ignored by three members of staff when trying to check out. I gave up waiting and left the key on the bar. Miraculously, someone must have appeared because the payment for the stay (which we ended a day early) was taken within 10 minutes. However, I still got a phone call asking whether I had taken the key. If I had, how would they have known we had checked out a day early? The room was small, the bathroom floor truly grim, and the walls were so thin you could hear everything your neighbours were saying and every footstep above you.
