Nice quiet location, only a block away from St Stephens Green, and then on to Grafton Street. Free on site parking was a real bonus in my work van. Room was comfortable with plenty of character.

We loved the architecture of the house and all the old furniture, great historic home. The shower dripped all night and when we went to tell reception on the last day there was no one around. The breakfast, which is complimentary, was non existent when we went down at 9 am. The woman who organises it seems to drift in and out and said the other people staying must have taken it.. she produced some very over processed, individually plastic wrapped pan au chocolate which we declined. We made coffee and made do with that. Why they make this offering is a mystery to us.
The non existent breakfast and slightly dismissive woman offering it. Also, the rug in our room was covered in bits and looked like it hadn’t been hooverved for a while.

The location was nice, easy check-in/ out, and free cupcakes and other snacks were available
The mattress in room 3 has a permanent dent. The rest of the property was nice, but this ruined the stay for us.
The curtains also let in a lot of light, so if you require a dark room, be aware of this
