Such a quaint, unique place!
Nothing! The stairs were a bit challenging to navigate, but still part of the charm.

The staff were pleasant and nice and were great helping us and our luggage up the stairs. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast because the form we were provided didn't mention eggs. I usually need a bit more than bread and cheese so we went elsewhere. There was an unfortunate mixup, because housekeeping took down a form that we didn't mean to be shared with staff, so they made a breakfast for us we didn't know about.
The room had an incredible view but unfortunately as soon as we shut the large balcony windows, we were overcome by the sewage smell, emanating from the bathroom. To escape the smell, which very much came from inside, not outside, we we had to keep the windows open all night and as a result were bitten EVERYWHERE by mosquitos. If I'd known I would have taken bug spray to sleep with. Thank goodness I have good earplugs, because the great views also come with major street noise.
