Great restaurant, very clean and friendly

Staff were really helpful and welcoming, especially helping me get approval for my car, which needed to comply with the local city emission zones.
The room was big with a bath and shower, comfortable and clean. Parking was available at a reasonable rate and secure.
Location was a quiet and safe neighbourhood but an easy 15min walk to the city centre. Train station was also close by which was handy for a quick trip to Bruges as well!
Breakfast was ok, but could have had a few more options, perhaps, but no big problem. There was still enough!

Nice, clean apartment. and comfy beds. Close to trainstation Gent Dampoort, only a 5 minute walk. You can take a train directly to Brügge, to Oostende and to Lille if you want to visit Dunkerque. Breakfast was ok, very nice to have a patio so you could sit outside.
No real schampoo and conditioner in the shower. I think it was a all body thing, so if you are picky about your hair, make sure to bring your own schampo.

Clean and conveniently located
The breakfast was disappointing. The staff was rude. On day one we came down for breakfast at 9.20 and noticed several items including croissants already out. We expected these to be replenished but they were not. When I eventually asked at 9.50am, I was told quite abruptly that there would be no more.
There was no toaster. When asked, we were told it was broken!
The scrambled eggs were fray and several other guests were expressing similar concerns about eggs and dry bacon. The staff member serving breakfast was unfriendly and came across as rude which started our day on a negative note. There was also no milk available at the tea station. Guests had to recut it and even then only small coffee creamer pods were provided; these were kept behind the bar. Seems they were rationing it or something!
