Loved everything about this hotel. Location is perfect for those who prefer peace and quiet. It is quite a walk going to old town but with the view of the river, the walk is not so bad. If you do not want to walk, you can borrow a bike free of charge or flag an e-taxi or book a grab. Very accessible to all kinds of transportation.
The rooms are clean and spacious and offer a great view of the river. The beds are comfortable and the room comes with all the things you need.
The breakfast buffet is soooo good. There are lots of choices for everyone. The coffee, of course, is heavenly.
But what made this hotel great has nothing to do with the amenities, the location, the food. What made Royal Riverside one of the best hotels we stayed at is the staff. From the minute we walked in, we genuinely felt welcomed. The service was impeccable. From the reception to the restaurant --- everyone ---- seemed genuinely happy to help and not just because it was their job. The people working there are what made it great and also the main reason why we will stay there again when we go back.
Nothing.

Beautiful hotel with a great pool and breakfast! The staff was amazing! So friendly and sweet!
Very clean and more spacious than other hotels we’ve stayed at!

Bright and sunny room; very friendly staff; really excellent breakfast. The soups were better then the pho in town and the range of fruit was excellent. The egg chef was good. Peppered ostrich one morning was a real treat. Really good value for money overall
The overhead shower was blocked and the water all came out in a waterfall. The bed was slightly hard for my taste, but not excessively so.
