Staff were amazing, especially Hana at the front desk, always helpful and great travel advice. Pool and happy hour were awesome- shout out to Tony our Bar man. We will be back!

Great Room and Breakfast, clean hotel with very attentive staff. The rooftop pool was great to relax at after a busy day and had incredible views / bar service.
The breakfast coffee could have been a bit stronger !

We had a very good first impression of Cozy Savvy Hoi An. The staff were friendly, especially Nancy, the room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The Old Town is reasonably close, although the walk can feel quite long in the heat.
What disappointed us was the constant questioning about our plans and whether we had booked activities, tailors, taxis, etc. through the hotel. I understand this can be intended as helpfulness, but after a while it felt more commercial than friendly, especially when approached during breakfast.
On checkout day, we were also told we needed to leave by 11, although our Booking.com reservation stated 12 noon.
The most uncomfortable part was being asked whether I had the Booking.com app, then being told to open it and leave a review while a staff member was standing there. Reviews should be left privately and without any pressure.
It’s a shame because without these things, the hotel itself would have been excellent. Sometimes you can feel the difference between genuine friendliness and friendliness with a commercial interest behind it.
