The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The husband and wife were some of the kindest, knowledgeable, and professional staff I've encountered on my many travels to various countries. In addition while we waited to check into our bungalow we were greeted by two of the sweetest dogs you will ever see. It was obvious that the staff put a lot of time and care to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
It can be somewhat challenging to find transportation if you want to enjoy the nightlife. However the hotel staff went above and beyond to provide transportation.

The most amazing views of the Piedra del Peñol, and its surroundings. The cabins were nice and clean and beautiful.
The only problem we had was that there wasn’t any running water in the morning. It wasn’t their fault but they were quick to fix it. The hotel is on a mountain so of course you have to walk up a hill. In our case. There was six of us. My elderly parents. My father walks with a walking stick. So walking for him is challenging enough. They have little tuk tuks as form of transportation but those cannot go all the way up with more than one person. So in our case they would drop my daughters, husband and my self off at the bottom of the hill. And each of the tuk tuks would drive up with my parents. They were very helpful and understanding. Overall it was an amazing trip.

Very original, great location, definitely coming back. The views are to die for, never seen a place so beautiful to wake up every morning with great scenery. Even our bathroom had a great view. The staff is super friendly and super helpful. They were on top of everything every day of my stay.
There wasn’t a single thing. Everything was fantastic. Great staff Grea Food the cook was the best.

The view from the room was beautiful, over the reservoir and the Penol.
It's very easy just to walk up to the Penol from the hotel. It's just next door.
It was a lot more rustic than we were expecting. The bed was extremely narrow, hardly even a double size and so hard ! We had booked 2 nights but ended up going elsewhere for night 2 as it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. Also be aware that it's a little way out of Guatapé town: you have to get a motochiva to get there. Although that's always fun.
