Beautiful old charm hotel in a great location would stay here again!

The location was great! Our balcony overlooked the square and we enjoyed the live entertainment every night. The market stalls were also very good. It was also walkable to great restaurants and shopping.

There were no umbrellas in the room closets and when we requested an umbrella at front desk they were all out. My impression was they did not have umbrellas to match rooms. Considering the cost for the room I would recommend you have umbrellas in each room closet for the room’s guest to use if required. Although there is nothing that can be done it was noisy when other guests arrived, departed and you could hear people walking above us as they had their shoes on. During the day would not be a problem but after midnight it did wake and keep us up.

The staff at Le Consulat were extremely helpful. Our suite was delightful!

This is a beautiful property in a fantastic location, ideal for first time visitors to beautiful Lisboa.

We loved the location and view from our suite. Breakfast was great and staff was helpful. We loved the vibe of the hotel, it felt historic yet modern and comfortable.

Poor

The room and building was old. As an example, our window fell off it’s hinge in the middle of the night. There was nobody at the front desk to help us. We lost a night of sleep. The hotel manager was unapologetic about the situation.

Excellent location, value, staff and accommodations!

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Location was prime real estate within close walking distance of great bars and restaurants in the Barrio Alto area. Our room was amazing, partially thanks to a surprise upgrade but all facilities seemed beautiful and well kept.

We had some challenges with the outlets and power connectivity in our room. There was no real view to speak of from our room, but that comes with the territory of being in a densely populated area!

wonderful place to stay close to nightlife events & retail locations

great location & friendly staff cool apartment breakfast was delicious and well served; friendly waitress!!!

creaky floors; strong air freshener smell; would have liked USB ports or adapters for electronics; would have like wash cloths for bathroom & paper towels in kitchen

We loved it, super nice staff and would love to return one day!!

The breakfast was perfect eggs, crossiants, and fresh juice perfect! The waitress, young long black hair was so sweet and polite!! The staff at the desk recommended the best restaurants and helped us with transport!

We are use to a washcloth or face towel for bathing! Need to provide some if those if possible …,

very large, great view, amazing beds. provided us with umbrellas. very nice staff carried all our luggage to our room.

too many interior hall doors which are hard to open and a stroller doesn’t fit through just one. didn’t have basic necessities for the kitchenette: towels, cooking pan, knife. when we asked for these things they have us napkins, a pot and a steak knife. hard to control water temperature. goes instant boiling hot which is dangerous if your trying to wash you baby in a sink. we asked for a baby seat for eating and they brought a very dirty , sticky seat. absolutely unacceptable. we had to clean it ourself.

Stay here!! They take good care of you!!

Really excellent hotel but the staff, especially Pedro, Paulo, and a gentleman whose name I do not remember, but was working the morning of Oct 27, were incredibly welcoming, and helpful--really made our stay special and comfortable!!

Needed more light directly over bathroom mirror for makeup and shaving . Everything else was great!!!

Beautiful room!

Location was great and the room was perfect!

The square outside was a little noisy on the weekend and you could hear the music from the bar.

Everything! from the amazing bar with balcony views overlooking the square, to the staff, the bed, the complimentary mini bar, etc.

I would return

I love the rooms and the location.

I was at the hotel 2-3 years ago and at time they had an amazing breakfast. I have to say I missed them not having this world class breakfast but there are plenty of places to eat outside their door.

percer stay in Lisbon, I ll be back.

it is like a home away from home. the room was light, modern, chic. the reception staff were incredibly helpful and communicate through WhatsApp which works so well.

the rooms looking over the plaza can be noisy at night.

really great location with fantastic staff.

the property was converted from a consulate and the room doors are probably original, which is cool. But the doors are starting to show their age, our bath room door wouldn’t really close and when I pulled on it, the handle came off. I had to then screw it back on and be very careful going forward. the main door closed no problem, but there’s a gap under the door and you can hear ppl walking by very easily in the morning. this lack of soundproofing made the room feel less private. other than that, it was all good. still would recommend based on the location alone.
