High praise for Dear Lisbon Bordalo Palace Chiado. We had four nights in this beautiful hotel and absolutely loved the location, staff and gorgeous spacious room. We would describe it as a boutique hotel with only 8 rooms and personal service. Incredible breakfast and very obliging staff who we chatted with daily. They were so friendly and helpful. We counted 12 great restaurants within a two minute walk of our square. The four we dined at were great. Such a convenient location for metro, trams, and train station. We can’t praise this hotel enough.
Really hard to find a negative, as the only thing I can think of is there is no elevator, however all rooms are on the first floor and the staff help you carry your bags.

Excellent location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent selection of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Close to shopping district. Safe area. Breakfast was exceptional in terms of quality and variety.
No lift so luggage could be challenging although staff were once again exceptionally helpful. Could be better lighting in the room.

Confortable bed, big room
Old and outdated building, windows doors didn’t close,
Awkward noise in the bathroom.
Really noise in the morning, since the breakfast place is really close to the rooms.
