Poor

Location

Neighbor coughing constantly, wanted to change rooms, no one available to help me on grounds or answering the phone. Left and went down the street to stay in the hotel. Very disappointed in the service or lack there of.

Very good

The place was actually perfect. It was all pleasant, clean, comfortable. It was actually a bit nicer than it looked from the photos. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the cleaning lady kept knocking on the door to remind me before check out.

Nice, clean, convenient location, great shower, good local services and transport

I attended a conference in DCU which was basically across the road. It is very easy to get from the airport just 20 minutes on a frequent public bus. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and a lovely pub very close by. There are lots of buses going downtown which takes about 15 minutes. The room was very clean, small yet comfy and quite. The shower was amazing. Given the crazy prices in Dublin this was a very good value choice.

Fine location to be for a few days to see Dublin. Close to bus stop and Lidl, but would have liked a

Beautiful location. We were in room 9. Nice in the back of the apartment, so we were not bothered by the busy road in front. Very ideal was the bus stop right outside the door. This allowed us to quickly get everywhere we wanted to go.

No facilities for self-catering (fridge, plates, cutlery). 2 separate beds that were far apart.

The room and access were excellent. I needed good sleep after a red-eye flight, and Ashling House came through!

This room was excellent value for money!

Super location. Great room, really big and comfortable, big bed. Shower worked well and hot water. Extra bonus: lovely outdoor area in this particular room, with table and chairs and a lovely garden away from the traffic noise of the main road.

The walls are thin enough but the other quests were quiet!

Good weekend venue.

Location & price made it excellent value for money compared to city centre. Also conveniently placed on many bus routes to city and airport. For 16€ a Leap card gave me unlimited bus travel into city plus my transfers to & from the airport. which compares v favourably with 9€ return airport to city. . Trip to city 10-15 mins - by doing this I saved 100€ plus on my trip.

It is not possible to communicate with the staff because there is no reception, only a private room, even if you knock on the door they don't answer, I should have asked for my room to be cleaned, if I hadn't asked it didn't happen and towels too, for such a price you expect a breakfast that doesn't exist

lovely stay, owners were friendly and helpful would highly recomend. not far from city centre and not far from airport.

we had access to the garden from the bedroom. the bedroom we had was spacious.

rooms to close together maybe the bed set up is back to back as you can hear the neighbours.

Location. It was close to few good restaurants.( example - The Ivy house) Easy to find and not too far from aeroport. A lot of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, take away food, around the area.

Lack of heating. Thin walls (you could hear everything from the rooms next door) Lack of connection/outlets for Europeans

it was a good enough stay but overpriced in my opinion.

The location was great and the room was big and clean. The en-suite bathroom was also nice and clean.

There was no communal space as far as I could tell. No kitchen or lounge or anyone to inform you about the facilities available. Very impersonal experience and for the price I paid (more than €160 per night) you’d expect something more. The room was cold and not able to turn on the heating…

Great location and at the time when I booked, it was relatively cheap - overall happy

Excellent location - between the airport and city centre. On main bus route and O' Connell Street is walkable (30-40 mins). Supermarkets and eating places nearby, very convenient. Wasn't sure how to get in at first, but then realised a message was sent via booking.com (instead of email) - apart from this, I actually liked the fact that you just get in using the door code provided and room key already left on the door and no need to interact with anybody, but may be that doesn't appeal to everybody.

The room I stayed in (no.1) faces the main road and with only single glazed window. For those of you who can't sleep with road noise, you will need ear plugs (it's a main road to the airport). Shower was a bit dodgy - shower head not great, temperature hard to control and bi-folding door somewhat broken, but it served the purpose.

Clear instructions to let myself in. Room spacious and clean.

Bathroom in room 7 badly needs a shelf. Nowhere to put anything down. Window would not lock in main room. A little package of biscuits would be nice with the tea and coffee for travellers who arrive late and are too tired to go looking for food. No breakfast offered.

The location near the bus stop was a winner for me.

My only negative comment is that I had a room at the front and it was noisy. I slept with earplugs so it wasn’t a problem.

Would visit again! Close to Dublin city centre!

The accommodation was at a really convenient and quiet place (I was able to take a bus and be in the center of Dublin in less than 20 minutes). Both beds and the bathroom were clean and the staff was really friendly.

The only thing that could go a bit better was that I requested an invoice and... I received a hand-written one haha.... But still the place was son awesome I would definitely visit again.
