We hade breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, the food was very good.
The lighting in our bathroom was very poor and the blower in our room was a little noisy.

The room was a reasonable size, clean, and the bed was comfy. The hotel spa was nice, good to be able to have a swim and a jacuzzi to relax between walks around the town. The staff were friendly and helpful, the attached restaurant was good and the upstairs bar was also a good place to have a drink or to eat.
We were originally given an inward facing room which was quite small, dark and claustrophobic, with a single tall but not wide window which extended into the ceiling. The view from that room was just walls and windows. We asked for a different room and were switched to a larger one with with two windows, but it faced the street and this very noisy at night. Not too bad up until midnight, but clearly a cut-through for drunken revellers who woke us shouting and laughing as they walked up the road at around 3:00am each night. Triple glazed windows didn't seem to have much effect. The bed was very comfy but all pillows were thin. The TV in the room had not-so-easy to use controls, and there wasn't a single English-speaking channel (usually there is at least BBC World or similar as an option when staying in a European hotel).
