About this house rental
Nestled in Pacific Beach, this lovely house for $450 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Vacation renting our property since 2008! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION - you found it! We have loosened our cancellation policy to allow for last-minute cancellations so you can book with confidence should circumstances suddenly change. Rent our 3 bed / 2 bath vacation home steps from the beach in North Pacific Beach, San Diego's most desirable beach community, The beach directly out front is a favorite family beach with good surfing and swimming with lifeguards on duty. As a crow flies we are 300 ft from the tide line. On weekends morning yoga class is held at Paradise Park above the beach but you can practice on our roof deck privately or join the class on the grass. If you enjoy walking or biking, the north end of the coastal boardwalk starts out front and continues 4 miles southward. Newly painted and updated furnishings in May 2023. Nice decor, fully outfitted kitchen, linens, and beach gear. Roof deck with 180-degree panoramic ocean views has a propane fire pit to enjoy sunsets and refreshing ocean breezes, and stargazing. A great location for relaxing & entertaining. Enjoy falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Please be advised this home is on a quiet street. Absolutely no loud parties allowed. Hosting celebrations, weddings, reunions & receptions require pre-approval/+fees. Accommodations: 3 queen beds, 3 twins, 1 bath/shower combo, 1 large shower, plus a hot outdoor shower for beachgoers, an entertainment center, and 4 completely private outdoor sundecks. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and sand toys are provided. The property is in a special quiet location with beautiful tropical landscaping and is cared for by long-term locals. Walk along the coastal boardwalk - to the many restaurants, bars, boutiques, and grocery stores. Public transportation -1 block to bus #30 to La Jolla or downtown. Sleeps 8. We count babies and children as part of the total. Additional rates may apply for parties over 4 in the low and mid-season, and over 7 guests in high season. We had a really good stay at the house, as a family of six. The location is gorgeous and the view from the deck amazing; you can hear the surf breaking all of the time.

We stayed here with a family group of 8, including 2 in their 80’s, and loved it! The place is warm and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the rooftop porch for evening sunsets. It’s a short walk to restaurants along the ocean walkway. We met both the owner and next door neighbor who were both very welcoming. Highly recommended!

My friends and I rented this property for our annual friends retreat that we take. We like places that allow us to both congregate and chat while also being within walking distance of places we can go for coffee, dinner, attractions, etc. This place checks all the boxes. It was clean, stocked with amenities, and the views were just as described!
The only areas where I have any criticism are:
1. Put check-in details fully online so there's no need to call for entry code.
2. Have furniture covers removed on the deck so guests don't have to remove them and then figure out where to put them as the deck area is pretty crowded.
Other than that, we greatly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property to others!
Points of consideration: If you have small kids or elderly relatives, please note that this property is only accessible via steep stairs. Further, if you have a large vehicle, parking may not be available as the driveway parking is quite limited in space and the street parking is often full as this property is very near to the beach.

This house was wonderful for our family group of seven. It had indoor and outdoor spaces, plenty of seating, great views, and a rooftop deck where we watched the sun set and the city lights come on. The neighborhood is quiet and at the north end of the boardwalk, so good for sleeping but close enough to everything that you can find loads of restaurants within a 5-10 minute stroll. Groceries are a 15 minute walk. The owner lives downstairs and is super generous with her time, advice, and beach toys. We used her boogie boards and kid wetsuits and loved the outdoor shower. The furnishings and decor are much nicer than the average beach rental. This isn’t a party house. It’s a classy, well-loved, comfortable place for family or friend gatherings. We’d definitely come back and enjoy the beach again from this beautiful home.

The location can't be better. The house has a huge amount of space when you include the balconies. The kitchen has almost everything you need. We definitely will stay again.

The location and porches do not disappoint! Just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores nearby. The rooftop porch with gas fire pit is a great place to watch the sunset and fireworks from Sea World. Well stocked kitchen is also nice for cooking meals. Just an FYI, there is a coffee maker but no Keurig. Gelsons grocery, which is just minutes away, does have fresh ground coffee. Definitely would recommend this home if you want to be near the beach.

This clean 3 bedroom property with off street on site parking has a well maintained courtyard and entrance with manicured landscaping and an abundance of flowers and plants. Four decks with seating, two with access from bedrooms provides views and privacy. The rooftop deck allows views of the park and the beach showcasing surfers and the Crystal Pier. Two bathrooms plus an outdoor shower are a plus. It’s just a short walk to the beach and there are ample quality beach chairs and umbrellas available on the property.

We have stayed at this beach house before, and despite a small inconvenience at the start of this trip, we wouldn’t definitely stay here again. Great home with an amazing rooftop deck/view. Tremendous location, with close proximity to the beach. The host is absolutely fantastic and very accommodating.

Overall we were pleased with the property location and the friendliness of the owner and her daughter. The kids had the opportunity to play on the beach multiple days and appreciated that the owner had beach toys available for us to use. The place had ample space for the entire family which consisted of three children under 8 and three adults.

This VRBO was different in that the owners live on the property in a separate portion of the house. The house was a little run down, and a few of the deck doors did not lock. Overall it was a good rental. The owners did explain that they have had only a housekeeper tending to the property, so that could explain the run down of the property.

We stayed with Isabelle for a long weekend and had the best time. The house was very clean and had all the amenities anyone would need. Check in was easy with the use of a door code. Isabelle met us as we arrived and provided suggestions for things to do and places to eat. You can’t beat the location. One block from the beach and boardwalk. Short walks to restaurants. Amazing views from the rooftop balcony. We are already looking forward to our next stay with Isabelle.

This was the best-equipped vacation rental we've ever booked. The photos definitely do not to this place proper justice. The ocean views and sounds throughout were incredible. The rooftop patio was even better than described. We had the unfortunate pleasure of traveling into town during a period of unusual rainy winter weather and it was great to be able to spread out and the entire family have plenty of room to be indoors during the worst of the weather. We will definitely book this house again on our next visit.

This is a 2-story house with the owner (who is attentive, easy to deal with, and very friendly) on the first floor and the 2nd floor is the Vrbo. Every day I would sit on the covered porch and eat my breakfast with the sights and sounds of the ocean. It was also a great place to read a book on the day bed in the porch looking out at the ocean. You can roll up the curtains and the 3 windows, so your view of the ocean is unhindered. If a family was going to stay, there is plenty of room with the 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. There are also 3 balconies: 2 off 2 bedrooms and a fabulous view on the roof which is equipped with a patio fire pit. This is a great place to view the sunsets. If you want to stay in the Mission Beach and Pacific Beach area of San Diego, this is an excellent place to stay. We have stayed there at least 6 times and will go back again next January.

Isabelle greeted us and introduced us to all the ins and outs of our accommodations. The bedrooms are all generous and comfortable. I loved the primary bedroom that had a sliding door opposite the the foot of our bed which we kept open to enjoy the ocean roar. It was the first time my husband and I slept peacefully in years. Our absolutely favorite part was the uppermost porch with a breathtaking view of the ocean, surfers, yoga classes and the surrounding neighborhood. Our vacation with our family in your home was a memorable delight.

this is our second stay at this location. We like the floor plan and breezy space with the unforgettable view from the roof top.
The beach just one block away, with a steep descent to the sand. The property offers lots of beach equipment including good quality boogy boards.
