About this house rental
Nestled in Brisbane, this lovely house for $124 per night is a great choice for your next break. Pet friendly Coconut Cottage is a refurbished bright and breezy 1950s mid-century beachhouse with a large deck in a private fully fenced tropical backyard. Free, fast Wi-Fi & Netflix is included. The main living area of house is air conditioned, as is the master bedroom, there are ceiling fans in all rooms. Coconut cottage is situated in a quiet street just an easy 2 minute stroll to the sands of Queens Beach. There is a Beach-side walkway leading to many cafes, restaurants, seaside shops, the Redcliffe Jetty, the beautiful Redcliffe Lagoon, in fact you can walk or cycle for kilometres in either direction to explore this gorgeous area (maps, local info, restaurant menus and recommendations provided). Boats leave from the marina to Moreton Island and for dolphin spotting and whale watching (seasonal). The Redcliffe Peninsula is well-positioned for easy access onto the motorway north to Sunshine Coast, south to Brisbane city and Gold Coast. There is a train station (4 kilometres from house) with trains going direct into Brisbane City or for travel to the Domestic and International Airports. There are buses at either end of the street to the go to the train station and local attractions. A popular cafe is located just around the corner. There is also a chemist, post office, doctor, vet, convenience store, hairdresser and bakery an easy five min walk from the house. The Redcliffe hospital is close by, with the house being a very convenient base for hospital visits. The house is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful area, and is also a relaxed place to unwind. Open kitchen and living area with air conditioning. The living room has a large corner lounge, with french doors leading onto a leafy front patio with seating. There is complimentary Netflix along with fast wifi, great for working remotely while the family is enjoying the seaside fun. There are two bedrooms (queen beds) with ceiling fans, master bedroom is also air conditioned, and there is also a large lounge that sleeps two children or one adult if required. Kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless steel fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Coffee machine (Nespresso pods), kettle, toaster, and an array of cooking utensils, crockery, cups, glasses etc. The kitchen leads onto a large back deck with relaxed seating and a large wooden table and chairs to enjoy dinner on those lovely tropical evenings. The Japanese inspired bathroom is new & modern with a shower over the luxurious bathtub- grab rail installed, the toilet is in the bathroom. The laundry room is downstairs equipped with frontloading washing machine and clothes dryer. There is a fully fenced private backyard with lush tropical foliage and a hammock for an afternoon snooze. The backyard is fully fenced and secure for our four-legged friends. The entire house has a very peaceful and private feel in a quiet street close (easy, flat walk) to the beach and Redcliffe Jetty precinct for shops, award winning restaurants, cafes, Bee Gees Way, Sunday Market and lots more.

We had a wonderful stay at the Coconut Cottage. We were attending Redcliffe for a sporting event and this home provided me and my team a place to stay that was warm and cosy and was super close (walking distance) to the hustle and bustle of Redcliffe without being too close (it was super peaceful!)

We loved staying here; immediately felt at home. Everything had been thought of, from USB chargers to suncream, cooking oil & spices to coffee plunger - it was like a family home just waiting for us.
I loved the decor and the bed linen, and enjoyed waking up in a four-poster bed to the sound of butcherbirds singing on the back deck. Was sorry to leave and could happily have stayed much longer! Beautifully presented and welcoming cottage.
Lots to do in the area, you can walk along the sea front to the lagoon pools, shops and cafes. We spent a day exploring locally and another day up on the Sunshine Coast. And it was always a delight returning home again to Coconut Cottage!

Would have been better if the accommodation had fly screens. As this was a pet friendly property, we took our cat but could not leave windows or doors open for fresh air. Also wasn’t a waterfront property, as advertised. Overall it was very clean and well stocked.

Coconut Pleasure
This is a homely and comfortable classic property that is very well presented and located in a prime spot. Being pet friendly we were able to walk the mutts up to the dog beach for a cooling swim = happy mutts! It is a little bimble down to Redcliffe centre but far enough not to be bothered by it. So many options for a cold beer, some great tucker choices or a brew are all within a short distance with the Bee Gee's music drifting on the wind!!

The best home we have ever stayed in. Jenny did everything to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. It was lovely to see all the little Christmas touches for my 4 year old daughter. She loved them. I would definitely recommend this home for families with young kids and a dog. We had the BEST time 😍🌟👌

Had a wonderful week holidaying here. Loved being within walking distance of the beach with stunning views out to Moreton island. Found a yoga studio close by, had a massage, and the kids loved Settlement Cove and the bakery around the corner on Oxley Ave which has such yummy treats!

Fantastic location
A fabulous property with an attentive friendly owner (Jenny) . The location is fantastic as you can walk into Redcliffe from the house and there is a bus stop nearby as well.

Perfect Getaway
This was our first visit to Coconut Cottage and we would definitely stay again. It is a charming place with lovely outdoor areas and fab facilities.
There was a great enclosed garden and veranda for our dog, so everyone was happy! The cottage is close to the beach and there are many great cafes and restaurants within a short walking distance. Our host provided great information on the local area too. Would certainly recommend a stay here - Five Fabulous Stars!!

Just a short walk to the beach and places to eat yet this place was cozy and quiet. AMAZING! The home has a beautiful back yard and the neighborhood was very relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer during our trip!

We went straight to Jenny's place in Redcliffe from the airport. It was the perfect place for us to land and get some rest after a long flight from Canada. We loved the house! Jenny has thought of everything. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are super comfy! Thank you!

Lovely Redcliff Cottage
We loved our short stay in Redcliff. The cottage has everything you could possibly need. Great location, comfortable beds and a beautiful deck to enjoy a quiet drink or coffee. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay to truely appreciate the scenic location and surrounding area.
