Location is perfect for families. The beach is right across the road with private covered seating areas with tables, loungers and a hammock. The hotel is small with maybe a dozen rooms so staff is small as well. The pool was maintained daily. The grounds were cleaned and raked every morning. Breakfast was limited but delicious. There's only one cook and a helper and she and her team did a great job with all the meals. There's only 2 waitstaff and one doubled as a bar tender so the service was slow but you are in paradise, what's the hurry? The room as spacious, comfy beds and lots of hot water. House keeping ladies were very friendly and thorough.
Nothing. Everything was great! It's the jungle so there's mosquitos so be prepared. There's iguanas and raccoons running around so don't leave anything edible outside. Our door was a sliding door so we had to make sure it was closed immediately so mosquitos won't get inside. But that's just part of being on a island. There was an issue with the final invoice being charged incorrectly, but the staff figured it out and corrected it before I got back home on my flight.
