The location and building were absolutely stunning. We loved the personal touches like sweet treats delivered to your room each evening and sunset cocktails; little details that make a place stand out. The breakfast and restaurant was so delicious. We especially loved the pool and the pool bar. All the staff throughout were super friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome.
We travelled with very small children, so a few more food options aimed at kids would be welcomed as this was a challenge for us.

The little sweets in the evening were a lovely touch. Furthermore, the complimentary sundowner drink was a nice gesture.
This hotel is simply too expensive for what you get—$500 per night is just not justified. For breakfast, only basic black coffee is included, and you're charged extra for a cappuccino, which feels unreasonable at this price point.
The sunbeds on the beach are packed extremely close together—less than a meter apart—offering no real sense of privacy. The photos on Booking.com are quite misleading. While they look amazing online, the reality was disappointing. The pool area, for example, is much smaller than expected.
Our suite didn’t have an ocean view (perhaps our mistake), but instead faced an unattractive backyard and a noisy street with loud taxis at night. There was no toilet brush or hair dryer in the room, which was surprising.
Worse, our room was left open and unattended for a significant amount of time. The housekeeping staff cleaned several rooms at once and left all the doors wide open. We were shocked when we realized this, especially since some of our valuables like laptops didn’t fit in the safe.
We also had an uncomfortable experience with a staff member who rudely asked why we didn’t leave a tip—even though we had tipped throughout our stay, just not after every single meal.
Overall, I truly don’t understand all the glowing reviews here. The hotel might look good in pictures, but it didn’t live up to expectations—and certainly not for the price.
