A lovely guest house perfectly located for exploring Bassa and Alta.
Federica was a perfect hostess, very welcoming and friendly, and also offered lots of great suggestions for food, gelato, drinks and sightseeing.
The breakfast room was lovely, we didn't have breakfast on site though (we were keen to get out and about!) just coffee.
Bed very comfortable, room spacious, airy, very clean, a little fridge, and a lovely big shower.
We loved the sunny balcony too, it is on quite a busy road, however our room was on the back of the building and we had no disturbance from traffic noise.
Easy stroll to Citta Bassa about 5 mins, a bit more challenging stroll to Citta Alta - a bit of a hill, gradual climb rather than steep - about 15 mins walk, much easier coming back down. I think you can get the Funicular up if you don't want to walk.
We would definitely recommend for a short stay, we did 2 nights and it was perfect for us. One if the nicest guest houses we have stayed in on our Italy travels, and one of the best priced too. If we ever return to Bergamo we will definitely stay at Santa Lucia again.

That had everything that was said and needed for a nice place! Easy to get to other places like lakes or old town!
Beds a bit hard but as expected in Italy
