A proper inn with good beer and excellent accommodation. Fabulous surrounding countryside as well.
The complimentary breakfast was somewhat spartan.

Great countryside pub with individual rooms set around a courtyard. Plenty free parking. Great food at pub, we ate there 2 nights. Very hospitable staff.

The location is nice (if you have a car). I am sure it’s lovely in summer with the garden.
Staff were all very nice.
The room looks cute and has a kettle with decaf and regular coffee, tea and biscuits.
The dinner in the pub was fine (but pricey).
The heating didn’t work too well, the room didn’t get warm enough to sit and relax. (But it was fine to sleep in.)
There was some mold along the tub. And some insects in the room. I saw three caterpillar-like larvae in my bed in the morning. Not bed-bugs but it was still off-putting enough to make me leave without breakfast. The lady at check out figured they must have fallen from the ceiling. Not a comforting thought.
