I loved the architecture and space. Love the roof top bar and the food was delicious. The complimentary breakfasts were fresh and a nice touch of hospitality. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. And the location couldn’t be beat. Great spot.
My only real criticism was the lack of natural light in my Luxury Suite. The room was quite dark. Although the windows faced a nice inner courtyard, what wasn’t clear was that they opened directly onto the main walkway. For privacy, I had to keep the large, heavy curtains closed, which made the room even darker. For me, this was a significant drawback and would prevent me from booking that particular room again #6.
That said, the shower and bathroom were excellent, with plenty of natural light from the skylight above.

Beautiful property, excellent location, the staff was delightful and extremely helpful at all times, beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar with gorgeous views, exceptional breakfasts, which were included. The room was large, had a fireplace, the bathroom has double sinks, and an enormous walk-in shower for two people. The hotel is so close to everything, and there is a lovely park directly across the street. Terrific hotel to stay in San Miguel de Allende.
