Wonderful botique property with friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us..

The property was very quaint. I liked that it had character and limited rooms as compared to a hotel. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was very clean and sufficient space. Once familiar with the location it was just 10 minutes from the center of town and 5 minutes in a taxi. It is located in a hilly section of town so hip/knee issues may be a concern..otherwise safely walking home after a delicious dinner was a welcome relief...

Una estancia maravillosa.

Lo que más disfrutamos fue el jacuzzi, ver desde la terraza el atardecer fue maravilloso y la atención de Tomás en todo momento es increíble. Una vista espectacular de San Miguel de Allende. El lugar es precioso, con muy linda iluminación en la noche, la cama es muy cómoda.

Todo muy bien. Muy recomendable.

Tres bon hébergement mais faut etre pret à grimper !!

Bon petit déjeuner, personnel extremement serviable, belle vue, belle terasse.

Le seul bémol est que l'hotel est situé tout au haut de la montagne. C'est toute une monté à pieds. Ceux qui ne sont pas 100% en forme physique devrait s'abstenir. Três, três difficile à monter !

Excelente opción de fin de semana

La limpieza del hotel y cada detalle que tenia, la terraza, el desayuno, sobre todo la atención dle personal, Homero nos ayudo en todo momento!!

El jacuzzi podría estar techado pero el sol es parte de la experiencia

Excellent stay at Mansion. Jorge was so friendly and helpful with arranging drivers and activities. The entire staff was awesome! Perfect view and location up on the hill looking down in the city. I’d highly recommend Mansion San Miguel.

Highly recommend this as a place to stay, feel welcomed by the hotel staff and very peaceful/relaxing.

Friendly hotel staff, morning breakfast, the resort like feel and of course the room.

It sits on top of a hill, which gave it wonderful views bits workout.

Wonderful, boutique hotel with quite a walk up

The property is beautiful! Quite a small boutique hotel but very picturesque. There is a terrace where guests can bring their own drinks or food, since they do not have a bar or restaurant on site. The view is beautiful from it though and lots of seating. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. They are willing to help with anything you may need on your stay. There is a light breakfast included, which was very convenient since the hotel is about 10 minutes on foot from most restaurants/cafes.

The only thing people should consider before booking is the fact that the hotel in on a hill. The walk up can be a struggle for some. The price, overall location and quality of the hotel made it up for us. But do keep in mind.

Friendly staff! Perfect breakfast. The hotel is beautiful! Great views from the terrace. It was quiet.

It is a steep walk uphill to the hotel from the center for any person with walking difficulties like the elderly. I didn’t mind the walk but for my mother we got a taxi to go back.

Very good

Beautiful building with a courtyard and roof top. Room was big and nice. Hotel was quiet and secure.

Breakfast provided (yogurt, fruit, granola, toast) was tasty but more options would have been nice. Room was a little far from central SMDA. The walk was pretty long and uphill. Some stretches of the walk were pretty desolate which wasn’t great at night at a single female traveler. I never was unsafe but would have been more comfortable in an area with a little more foot traffic.

We loved our stay! Wonderful hospitality and a beautiful, quaint hotel in a quiet neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay- the hotel is beautiful and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The rooftop lounge area was a nice place to catch the sunset with a gorgeous view. We loved walking into the center of town and didn’t mind the steep hill on the way home too much. It was good exercise!

The breakfast could have had more options. We are Vegan so we couldn’t eat the pastries. Some fresh fruit would have been nice. Also, the hot tub was really nice the first night, but felt a little dirty. The second night the water was very cloudy so we didn’t go in.

Beautiful hotel, helpful staff and wonderful location.

Serene setting and beauty of courtyard and rooftop views. Good location for bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Air conditioner did not cool the room enough for sleeping, kept getting up to 25 degrees C.

Stunning sunset views. Yummy breakfast. Good hot tub. Nice and quiet but close to centre. Immaculate

Great secret- the sunset views from the rooftop here are better than the best rooftops in downtown. Plus there is a hot tub and you don't have to spend a bunch of money on food you can have your own sunset picnic. Rooms were big. Continental breakfast was not stingy like many hotels (Casa Hoyos has a terrible breakfast for example). Ample fruit, high quality granola, good portions of yogurt. Attentive staff rushing to bring you everything you need. Nice biscuits. The walk up the hill is a good workout so if you have mobility issues this might not be the stay for you. I liked the exercise.

Better drainage in shower but I am sure that can be fixed!

Charming multi level courtyard welcomes you to this small, wonderful, well run hotel.

Spacious room and bathroom. Beautiful common areas to lounge in. The Mansion is a former home in an affluent neighborhood. Beautiful property and a stunning rooftop deck to see the entire town and sunset. Jorge was exceptionally helpful w information and arranging car/driver for us both before we arrived and while we were there. Great recommendations for places to go or eat in the city.

Small point…….Wish the towels were fluffier…..

Very good

The rooftop deck was a fantastic place to relax and enjoy views of SMA. Our room was spacious. Fresh fruit in the morning was delicious and so was the coffee. The location is quiet and a pleasant walk to the center.

I felt like communication could have been better. At the time I booked, I don’t recall parking being an extra 200 MXN per day. The included breakfast is fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and two small pastries. Hot menu items like eggs can be purchased for an additional fee. It would be nice to be informed this upon check in. We only found this out from other guests. The WiFi was weak and intermittent from our room. Towels by the jacuzzi were not restocked for at least two days. The credit card machine was down when we checked out. This always seems a little suspicious. We really enjoyed the property, but there are small improvements in service and amenities that would make the experience a 10/10.
