Already looking at booking here for the future it was that good.

What a fantastic stay! Koichi-san went out of his way with any and all requests we had, he’s an asset to this hotel. The rest of the staff were also exceptional and made our stay really enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the morning shuttle to the mountain was such a convenient option! Thanks for everything.

Location, Rooms are nice and big, breakfast was really good. The Staff at Echo hotel are amazing, helpful and friendly. Thank you to everyone that looked after us and made are 7nights great.

The room is clean and very comfortable. we didn’t expect that the hotel staff would come to your room to tidy up the bed so we left the bed very messy. it’s our pleasure to stay in Echo hotel. The breakfast are nice and have different choices.

the only area that we didn’t like too much was the water temperature of the shower. it only came extremely hot or cold water.

like some cheap poorly managed Australian inn

nothing

no slippers. stay 5 nihhts no cleaning done. security. any people can just walk in. unruly non guests simply gather outside making a rankus. staff are untrained mainly Australian. Frankly of so many places we had been too, Echoland is the worst. U don't feel secure with these drunkens roaming the streets

Great 3 nights stay in Hakuba. Definitely will come again

Location near Happo, convenient store & Echo Base camp about 200m. Room quite spacious for 4 of us. Sound proof. Friendly & kind staff. Helped us with luggage. Delicious breakfast with several choices. Fresh oranges & apples are great. Shuttles to Happo & Hakuba 47 every morning. Nice place to walk around and many cafes nearby. Heater were helpful at winter.

The toilet has no bidet. Other than that, nothing.

Our stay was comfortable, convenient and central

The spacious, modern room was amazing for Japanese accommodation. The beds were super comfy! Very conveniently located in the middle of everything- restaurants and base camp bus station. The breakfasts were very generous and shuttles to Happo and 47 on offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a bar next door and coin laundry, giving extra convenience!

Good hotel.. Great location. Great service

Koichi was very accommodative and helpful. He picked us up and drop us off from the bus terminal. The hotel is located in a nice area with the bus shuttle to the ski resorts just in front of the hotel. Not to mention the free shuttle services provided by the hotel. The View is also beautiful and we can see the Olympic slope as well as the ski slopes in Happo-One resort. The breakfast provided was delicious and wholesome.

The only issue that needs a bit of improvement is the housekeeping. Of the 5 days that we were there, the only housekeeping service that the housekeeping crew provided was throwing out the trash next to the main door. It would be nice if they clean the bathroom as well.

Exceptional

Large spacious rooms with big comfy beds. The very friendly staff went and beyond to ensure our stay was a memorable one. The location is fantastic with plenty of food and drink options nearby and a short walk to Hakuba Base Camp. The breakfast also exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous place to stay Great location.

We loved everything about your hotel all the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us. The breakfasts were delicious, Koechi arranged to pick us up and drop us off at the station and the snowedin bar and pool room upstairs were great places to relax at the end of the day. We will be back thankyou for a great holiday.

Superb

great, spacious apartment with three good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms with toilets. The kitchen was well equipped. Location was excellent, with shuttle buses so close to every ski area and dozens of restaurant/cafe options close by. Kato San was very helpful and kind to assist in any way he could and all of the staff were lovely and friendly. Freshly cooked breaky (and cold options) available every day.

Location, actual hotel, the staff were good, breakfast perfect.

No Japanese TV, a simple aerial would solve that. Even though I don't understand the language I love to watch local TV, but that's a small issue.

it was old, tired and needed updating, very hard mattress and a rickety old dining table and had lots of cold drafts

Amazing snow, good location, good rooms, great staff

We liked the ability to book a 2 bedroom family room

No hotel shuttle bus in the afternoon meant travel home from the ski fields or out for dinner was very difficult

I spent fantastic days in Hakuba and especially at the Echo Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I want to thank Mr. Kato for his dedication to making sure we had a wonderful stay.
