Lovely, friendly staff made sure we had somewhere to store our bags before check in and that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Free Iron Bru, biscuits and tea and coffee in the room. Bathroom had a bath and shower and plenty of toiletries. Bus links to the city are really close by.
There was a small amount of noise from a timer in the cupboard and from people coming and going outside the room. Minor annoyances for an overall wonderful stay.

Great location. Very quiet ( unfortunately they were digging the road up outside when we were there but it would be very quiet any other time)
Lovely big room with beautiful bathroom. Very warm. Parking available ( but limited) so we left the car there and used the buses.
Part of a great pub with excellent reputation.
Nothing.

We liked the location as was in a nice area of Edinburgh and very close to the bus stop to catch the bus to the centre. The shower was good and powerful too.
It was a tiny room, which we paid a lot of money for. It was above the kitchen so really smelt of onions. It was warm and there was no fan, so we needed to have the window open - this meant our Friday evening was very much an overwhelming smell of onions and the noisy beer garden below.
