A very comfortable firm bed, the lovely breakfast (especially eating in the outdoor area) and proximity to everything while still feeling calm and residential. Housekeeping was excellent and most front desk staff were very friendly. I loved the historic building.
The "fridge" in my room did not work (even though I asked for someone to check) with any plugs nearby. Also even if I wanted to use this fridge it would only be big enough to hold 3 small water bottles. No access to ice in the hotel either.

Beautiful building and great location. Easy walk from Water Taxi. Breakfast in garden was nice.
Service was grumpy. Maybe it was just the tone of voice but did not make me feel welcome. The room was drab and tiny. Not a single surface for me to put anything on, except the shelf in the cheap plywood cupboard.
Even the shower did not have a shelf to put shampoo or soap on while showing and holding the shower nozzle. Towels were flimsy, rough and thin.
