Wonderful and warm stay

We met Helen, the receptionist. She is very helpful and friendly. She recommended us a few nice places to eat and visit. She help us book the transportation from Hoi An to Hue City. We got a lot of information about Hoi An and her hometown. She work as a tour guide before covid.

Loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Clean rooms and great location. The pool area is nice and a great place to spend a couple hours escaping the heat. Helen was very helpful and accomodating. Would definitely stay again.

as mentioned in other reviews the shower water pressure isn’t amazing, but that’s common throughout the country and didn’t bother us all that much.

We checked out early, don't be fooled by the images and description

Helen on reception was very friendly and helpful, arranging laundry and providing lots of information about tours.

On three consecutive days we saw a large (15cm) rat running between the reception area and the breakfast room, it would come out from the wooden unit at the back left of the reception area as you look at it and cross under the wooden unit on the right. I've attached screen-grabs of the unit from a video where I was trying to capture it on film. The room was very outdated compared with the images, it's older, dirtier and in a much worse state of repair, inc damp and mould on the walls. The air-conditioning unit on the outside wall of the room over the small balcony space is very loud. The breakfast isn't even close to the images, when comparing the images at breakfast on the second day - the staff saw, came over and told us the images were from 5 years ago. Expect 1 worktop of options: with some fruit, white sliced bread, a toaster and some sliced cheese and ham. You can also order an omelette. Generally, the hotel feels as though it was quite luxurious when it was built, and has not been maintained since, falling into a state of disrepair in places.

The service

This hotel is not what it used to be. No breakfast, no free bikes, no happy hour, no food at all. Hardly any staff, The lobby looks very unwelcoming! Or maybe I should say what used to be the breakfast area on the way to the stairs. There are no elevators!

Hoi An will always be a lovely place. Hotel is ideal for younger adults as it is a walkable location

Location was convenient, Helen from the front desk was friendly and helpful. Helped us with our other tour needs.

Lovely place to stay in Hoi An

Very nice little hotel, which was extremely good value. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Helen, the host was very welcoming and friendly and helped us book taxis and excursions.

Needs a better shower head.

My stay was nice and am happy I got to meet and talk to Helen.

Great location, very clean and friendly staff especially Helen. She was so helpful and caring and had a fabulous personality. Thank you Helen!

I had stayed there before the pandemic and there were many tourists and the breakfast was great. This time it was different without a lot of people around to keep it going and no buffet breakfast to start the day. Traveling alone I was a bit lonely without a lot of people around the hotel. I am sure it will be great again when more tourists start traveling staying there.

Lovely stay

Huge room with a balcony, bath and bar fridge. Location is slightly out of town, but easy enough to walk to and minimal noise. Helen was amazing, ensuring I felt welcoming and available to help organise a bike or transfer to the airport.

Great staff. Always smile 😁 Helps to order discount tickets to the water park. And they have a full dark room (for those who can't sleep with light)

We had water flooded in the shower and they didn't help us solve it (don't fix the or change room).

Very good

This is very good property within walking distance to the old quarter. The hotel is boutique, old fashioned, but also comfortable enough. The pool is not fabulous but good for chills. Staffs are very nice. Value for money 👍👍👍

The toilet of the family room is small for 4 people (my family has 1 kid and one baby). The breakfast quality is really disappointing. I know, there is no breakfast buffet due to low room occupancy, but, frankly, our two breakfast meals we had during our stay were not so good.

Comfortable.. friendly.. just an overall great experience.

The check-in process was the best I have ever experienced in over 25 years travelling in Asia. We were made to feel so welcome by Ruby upon arrival to our departure! Ruby excels in customer service and is available for any advice you may need. Nothing is too much trouble for her :) The location is great... walkable to night market and other local Vietnamese cafes and restaurants. (Ask Ruby for good recommendations of where to eat and you will not be disappointed) The rooms have a 'Vietnamese' feel to them, and were very comfortable.
