Location was very good, I could walk everywhere in Bilbao.
Breakfast was low quality, the scrambled eggs came from a bag. I would avoid breakfast at hotel and go to the cafe next door.

Fabulous shower, central location within walking distance of great restaurants and other sites, including Guggenheim museum. Street parking often available but limited to 3 hours

the room was fantastic, best shower for this trip.
The front desk staff couldn't crack a smile if you paid them. Driving into the carpark was excruciating, go down 2 floors and then the door wouldn't open. Rang bell for 5 minutes, no answer. Abandon car and race up to front desk. No apology, no nothing. Staff member clearly didn't believe me. And then they charge you 22 euros per day, or part thereof, for the pleasure of parking. First appearances only happen once, and this one spoiled an otherwise wonderful stay in a magnificent city.
