I would stay here again

Room mumber 4 is perfect for a solo traveler or couple. The A/C was quiet and cooled the room down quickly when needed. It was kept off when I wasn't in the room. The bathroom is large with a big shower stall and clean, fluffy towels. In a shared space is a dining table, mini fridge, and a microwave. The wifi worked well, and I barely heard any sound from the bakery below. This room requires walking up one flight of stairs. There is a desk where I placed my laptop. There is also a large closet. The location is great. You can walk to Costco, grocery stores, restaurants, and a mall.

I could not get the overhead light to turn on, but there was a light on the desk that worked.

Being out of touristic area but near by. Clean place, working air conditioner, good size room and bathroom, having a large closet, iron and ironing board, extra soap bars and toilet paper and I loved we had beach towels.

Old water leak under the bathroom sink made it a bit smelly.

Would 10/10 stay here again!

I loved my room. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Everything worked great, there were ample clean towels for me on arrival. The bed was extremely comfortable. The owner maintained excellent contact with me and ensured that I had everything that I needed for my stay. The staff downstairs who work at the coffee shop are really kind. I enjoyed getting coffee, cookies, and delicious cake from there. I had no trouble entering the building or my room at any point during my stay. The bathroom in my room was extremely clean and everything worked well. There was great water pressure and no issues with water heating or anything like that. I really liked the location as well, not directly within a touristy area, but still very close to more central areas, which is great if you like walking and exploring. I felt very safe at all times. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again on my next visit to Puerto Vallarta.

Due to the coffee shop downstairs, it could be a little bit loud very early in the morning, but it's understandable and not the worst thing ever, which is why I still rated my stay a 10/10.

Very nice place, and very helpful hostess.

Location very convenient for walking around Versailles, and very close to La Comer for shopping.

More air flow upward to the roof. Upper floor was stifling, due to heat from bakery.

Very affordable place in a quiet neighbourhood. Although there is a bakery which may start their work in the early morning, I had no issues with that since I am an early bird.

The location actually quite good buses going downtown 3 blocks away Lots of shopping in area and good restaurants and even buffets close by

There are two separate places across street from residence with uncontrollable dogs barking sometimes thru the nite...Quite irritating

This was a great location to visit and see the region of Versailles and Pitialle.

Because the room was above a cake shop, it was easy to go down and get a coffee and pastry once they opened at 7. Could also make a coffee in the upstairs sitting room for yourself.

Downside of having the cake shop below was that the young staff tended to play their music fairly loud during their workday hours. Although very quiet overall at night it made it difficult to get a rest through the day before going out again.

Very comfortable rooms above a Coffee Shop, with a nice roof terrace, and close to a supermarket.

My room was large with a huge comfortable bed and a fantastic en-suite bathroom. The internet connection was good and there was plenty of clothe hanging space and two beach towels. On the roof terrace there are two loungers which i made good use of. There's a supermarket and other smaller shops within a 5 minute walk of the hotel.

Because there is a Coffee Shop underneath the rooms, there was a lot of noise around six in the morning.

Lois was a thoughtful and caring. The room was perfectly clean! It was a pleasure to stay at Casa Pavlova. Even though I did not mind, those who have a light sleep might be warned that the bakery downstairs can be indeed a bit noisy.

great location as far as proximity to town , good smells from downstairs sweet shop, private and cozy. safe and free parking

Good for the price, you get what you pay for

Great price. Pretty good location in a safe and secure neighborhood close to many things. The remote host was very responsive and friendly. Works well as a crash pad, don't plan on spending any actual time here.

Bakery below was very noisy very early making restful sleep difficult. Bakery was also noisy during the day, which in combination with patchy wifi, made this a very difficult place to accomplish work. As seems to be the norm in PV, bathroom had bug problems. Would not be a good place for a family.

Great stay

Our room was large and very clean. I loved the bakery downstairs, it adds to the cheerful atmosphere. Lois always answered any questions that we had right away.

It was a bit far to walk to the beach, although we bad no trouble with the bus.

Size, comfort, wifi cleanliness and quietness of room and bathroom.

The photos and description are a bit misleading. The TV, micro and coffee maker are in a common room. There are no staff on site and, excellent, communications were done over whattsapp.

Very large, clean and beautiful room and ensuite bathroom above an upscale pastry shop.

The room and ensuite bathroom were very large, modern, clean and beautifully decorated. Huge bed and big closet. Lots of light. Quiet air-conditioning unit.

No TV in bedroom, but smart TV in common room.

I loved everything about this place, but the host? Lois was the most incredible person I've ever met. She took care of me like I was her family and I wish I had gotten to meet her so I could thank her for how sweet and kind she was to me. The wifi was great, bed comfortable, the bakery amazing!

There was a bit of a musty, stale smell in the bathroom that was very stressful for me. Also, the water pressure of the shower was not great at all :(

It was fine and I survived those cars'

The room was nice. The bakery was in the same home with rooms upstairs. Some might think it too much noise, Didn,t bother me, Not having an on sight manager for things like losing a key or information was important to me. Crossing the street to the mega store was dangerous but the air conditioning was nice for the time of year. It is one I chose this place. The owner got back in a timely fashion in letting me know important matters. This place was alright but I probably need a different area closer to center.

It made me nervous since after hours I was the only guest here that if something was a problem in the bakery that the first one they would look at would be the foreign kid.

Home Sweet Home!

I loved staying here! This was the perfect landing pad for me, closer to the airport, clean and very comfortable room and even more so Lois was beyond kind, loving & professional with clear instructions for everything making my life so easy upon my arrival after a long journey!!
