Relaxing stay in Phoenix

I liked the area. Very safe. Good walking paths. Beautiful skies. Plenty of off-street parking. Spacious room. Very quiet in-house. House cleaner goes above and beyond and is very nice. Hosts are responsive.

I didn't like how dirty other customers were. The bathroom tub was often filled with pubes. I had to flush a full toilet multiple times. 💀

Great location, great room

The location was very convenient to the grocery store and also the bus line. I did not have a car so this was important to me. I felt like I was in a safe neighbourhood. Also the room that I had rented was not available when I arrived so I was given a master bedroom with it's own bathroom and a large closet at no additional cost. I liked being able to cook and do laundry at the site. The kitchen and laundry were clean and the appliances were in good order. There were 2 large refrigerators and plenty of cabinet space also. The wifi was good at the location.

There weren't many dishes. It would have helped me in particular to have bowls. The temperature in the house was too cool and although it was adjusted when I requested, I still had to wear a jacket much of the time.

My stay was very DISAPPOINTING. This house had rude residents & bad service.

We rented a room in a house with noisy residents.

We stayed there 6 days & the hot water in shower never was warm or hot. It was a master bedroom with a bathroom but didn’t have a door to bathroom so it was always cold in shower. The A/C thermostat was always being adjusted my other residents so we couldn’t sleep comfortably. The automatic lock on front door became jammed at 2am in morning. We had to wait outside in cold for owner/manager to let us in. We NEVER received a clean set on towels. We stayed there 6 days & never had fresh towels. The house is nice & in a decent subdivision but our experience was disappointing.

Far away but worth all the money

A calm and secure place to stay. A fast replying and really helpful Owner of the place Very clean place Great bathroom Television with many possibilities of movies and series even Netflix if you want to watch. A lot of tools there for cooking Great places to relax in the evening

I think the main gate to get inside the residences was my biggest problem as it never or almost never wanted to accept the code 😅 Depending on how many people are in the residence it can be disturbing noises sometimes (example: someone put on the washing machines after 10pm so they made noices until 1am) and my room was close to the washing room. You definetively need a car if you want to visit noce places.

not as advertised - be warned

gated community. parking in driveway or on cul de sac. bed was comfortable.

room was not ready when I requested check i at 3pm.(despite stating check starting at 3pm. (I just wanted a shower and bed after 12 hrs of driving) complicated communication to get details to check in, owner was short tempered when I informed him the cleaning crew stiadn’t arrived to clean the room so I could check in after 2 hrs. he told me to leave and good luck. the owner’s wife and daughter finally came to clean,they were very pleasant.I spoke with the wife got it sorted. there apparently are other rooms being rented long term. kitchen had no basic utensils (forks,etc) or mugs. bathroom wasn’t that clean (crusty toothpaste in sink, and an oily film in the spa tub) the sheets slide off the bed.The final night I attempt to wind down and get to bed early and the cleaning staff (that apparently lives on site) yelled and swore at me when I requested she keep the loud singing/vacuuming down and slammed a door in my face. (9:45pm) so rude and unprofessional! I don’t understand why she cleaned the room, when the owner’s kids were there cleaning the same room the day before!

Excellent Value

The room was very good, clean and cheap, the house was huge and I enjoyed the facilities a lot!

The house was a bit too far from all the Phoenix attractions, the private street a bit far from buses and a bit complicated for uber.

A peaceful locale

It was a beautiful & quiet location, and only 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix, AZ where shopping and dining are. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax for a few days while you dip in and out of the city.

Superb

clean, large space, good bath tub, large bathroom

last minute booked room not available, has to change a location, turned out ok. The bedroom table is too small, also need a desk lamp or floor lamp.

Big room...price

Went with more expensive room for jacoussi tub...couldn't use due to scale, mold, grossness coming out of jets...toilet had mold ring around water line...shower head sucked...after reading reviews I was very disappointed...also window in bedroom has bullet hole through it.

I felt secure and comfortable in the well kept home.

I didn't want to play around with switches to turn on the outside light by the front door. I had to ask another guest about how to turn on the lights in the kitchen.

Excellent value; good stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great. I was a little worried about sharing a single home with other tenants, but other tenants were quiet. Only two minor issues: 1) food that other tenants had left in the fridge was rotten and needed to be thrown out. little gross. 2) parking on driveway bit constrained. I parked down the block in the turn-around area which was supposed to be OK but got a ticket notice from Community Assoc'n anyway.

Good value

Clean, economical choice for us. We are not ones who spend much time at a hotel when we travel, preferring to be on the go exploring and experiencing life.

I was surprised they did not allow us to eat or drink in our room, after a long day we did not want to have to socialize to enjoy an adult beverage. Also, the sheets were not cotton so stuck to us as we slept and usually came off the bedframe.

The shared bathroom was dirty. The baseboard was dirty, floor was dirty. at times the floor was wet from others showing and not drying the floor. It was very slippery. There were not any cleaning product to clean the shower floor prior to use. waste can was often overflowing. when I locked the window and door upon leaving. upon my return to the room the window was wide open. Locks on the door appeared to work. How did my window get opened? Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Double stick tape remnants in front of each bedroom door were dirty. it appeared at one time there may have been rugs taped on the tile in front of each door.

Easy to get to and access the facility.

Shared bathroom amongst 3 guest rooms. Dirty bathroom bothering on gross. Hair on the bathroom floor. Tissue paper strewn all over the bathroom floor. Kitchen bin full and overflowing.
