Leavenworth Retreat Mountain View with Private Seasonal Pool With a stunning view of the Enchantment Mountains, this large 2-level home close to downtown Leavenworth features a beautiful seasonal outdoor pool open from June 1st through September 30th, a spacious Great Room, and a private hot tub. Located only 8 blocks from downtown, Leavenworth Retreat is within easy walking distance to the Bavarian festivals, restaurants, and shops. Just 2 blocks from the Leavenworth trolley stop and the Safeway grocery store, it’s easily accessible in a very attractive, private residential setting. Very nicely furnished and decorated, Leavenworth Retreat is large enough to accommodate up to 8 comfortably, with 4 bedrooms that include 2 kings and 2 queens, and a TV room with 1 futon. The spacious Great Room combines the kitchen that has been newly remodeled, the dining room, and the living area in a large and comfortable living space with territorial views of the Enchantment Mountains, Icicle, and Tumwater Ridges. The three bathrooms are very nicely designed in granite and tile. Additional amenities include a ping pong table, lots of games, a large outdoor BBQ, cable TV, and high-speed internet. A perfect vacation retreat in every season, Leavenworth Retreat is an ideal holiday vacation spot for extended family– close to winter recreation and downtown festivals. In the summer, it’s easily accessible to biking, hiking trails, golf, water sports, live theater shows, and shopping. Leavenworth Retreat has already been a popular vacation spot for many years. The property was nice overall. One problem was the stairs. In our group we had a person that is a paraplegic. It was hard for her to get up and down, since the main level of the house was on the upper level. The day before check in we were told the pool would not be available. The pool was the reason we rented this house.

Our recent stay at this Vrbo in Leavenworth, Washington left us pretty disappointed and frustrated.
The first of many problems occurred when Google maps for the address sent us on a loop. After arrival, the “front” door was very stuck and was a hassle to open. We were hoping to have a 5/5 experience from there. Leavenworth is 15 min walking distance, house and pool were beautiful and clean, and it fit all of the guests. The experience was marred by an incessant intrusion of staff members from the rental company, who made their presence felt on six separate occasions during our brief two-night stay. Even if the rules/info book stated how staff will come to take care of the place during longer stays, we can’t help but feel it was an intrusion of privacy when we only stayed for two nights. Furthermore, the lack of functioning air conditioning throughout our stay left us struggling to find comfort in the summer heat. The extra towels for the pool and hot tub was great to have, but other amenities like soap were below average in quality.
The cumulative effect of these issues greatly diminished the overall quality of our experience and left us questioning the value of our rental choice. It's disheartening to have our expectations dashed, and we sincerely hope that the rental company takes steps to rectify these issues for future guests, ensuring a more enjoyable, relaxing, and hassle-free experience.

Our family stayed here with friends. It comfortably fit all 8 of us. The amenities entertained kids endlessly and the adults actually got time to relax.
The house is an older home and had a few quirks, but it was nothing that affected our vacation. Example, the dishes provided are too heavy for the dishwasher and the tray would constantly fall off the track causing you to wrestle with it. Downstairs lighting is very dim, especially in the bathroom. And the showers leave a little to be desired for and both women ended up not washing their hair for the 4 days we were there. But it didn’t affect the men and children. Honestly these were minor things that didn’t affect our stay and we would stay again. It’s hard to find a place in Leavenworth that is close to town, is this big with pool and hot tub, and this checked all the boxes.

We booked last minute and the place was better than we had imagined. Walking distance to town, the pool and hot tub are fantastic. Spent my b-day floating in the pool and grilled on the deck. Loved it. The house isn't as "posh" as some VRBOs-more like staying with family- but it worked well.
A bit more modern lighting in the basement would help (teen girls were creeped out by dated decor and low lighting.) I would also suggest some plastic plates and cups for poolside use in kitchen staples.
We loved that we could bring our dog and he had a great time. Thank-you for sharing your home with us!

To start, we were pretty sure it was advertised with two futons. Only one is here so someone did have to sleep on the couch upstairs. Getting in was super easy, there is very minimal lighting after dusk. It was extremely hard to enjoy the hot tub because there was no outdoor light. Also, the hot tub lights did not work and there was mounds of snow we had to climb over to even access it. I genuinely would have hope a path would have at least been cleared for us to wall through and that the function of the tub was checked. Maybe we just didn't do it right, but, your instructions were pretty clear and several adults tried. I also got a call the day before my trip to be told the oven was broken and could not be used, the day before my trip. I was extended a late checkout but honestly that doesn't sit with me too well. So I adjusted, knowing there was a grill. When I experienced the grill it was extremely filthy like it had not beencleaned in a long time and there were large pieces of rust falling off of it. The table also looked as if it had never been cleaned off. As you can imagine I did not feel comfortable cooking food. If it was clean and not falling apart i would have no issue cleaning it myself post use. I took some picturesfor reference in case you have a private cleaning company come out so you can see. That left the stove top and with how many times I had already adjusted, I did not feel like spending even more money on more groceries. We eneded up eating out a lot, great place but when you pay as much as you did, saving money would have been nice. We didn't though, we have a bunch of groceries here for a grill and at home for an oven. It is a beautiful house and minus those turn offs we did all enjoy ourselves and we are talking about renting here again.

Best Ever
We had the best Thanksgiving our family has ever experienced. It was so amazing. the house fit our family perfectly with just the right amount of rooms. The kitchen was wonderful and so easy in which to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The proximity to town made it so nice for all of us.
the one problem is that it is not user friendly for people with mobility issues. For example, the beds are too high. It would be nice to have beds at a normal level. Also, there needs to be a taller toilet in the bathrooms (all of them) and a bar to help stand up. Also, the bath/showers are slippery and there is no bar to hang on to. I have knee problems and just finished chemo leaving me with neuropathy in my feet. It would have been nice to have a tall toilet and bars in the bath tub. Having them downstairs is no help as the major living goes on up stairs. Tall beds are difficult. Even my children had a hard time with them. New headboards!!! But it was truly magical. We would do it again. P.S. the fireplace in the master didn't work. Probably outdated batteries.

The house was great and only a 10-15 min walk from the village. 2 bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs, all of them are very good sized! Plenty of room for 8 people in living room area, and plenty of parking out front. Can’t wait to come back!

While we usually stay in town, this rental is not so far you can’t walk into town. The home itself was great with really comfortable beds. The outdoor space is not private.

Our group loved this house: easy walk to town, plenty of parking, each room was spacious with comfy beds, and great living area to hang out in. The hot tub, ping pong table, and foosball table were great amenities, too. Would definitely stay here again!

A huge upside of this property, is that it is a short walk into town. There is no need to navigate parking as there is plenty of space on the property, and a sidewalk into town. The property is also very spacious and includes 2 futons for additional guests.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house in Leavenworth. It was clean, well supplied, comfortable and the pool was awesome. The kitchen faucet was finicky and a bathroom sink handle came off, but those were the only negatives and we didn't bother to report those. I highly recommend this place.

Family Vacation
Great location! The pool was great! Grateful for the air conditioning! House had everything we needed. We have little kids and a baby, so we were very relieved that doors had top locks and the house had two baby gates that we put to use. Only minor complaint would be condition of carpet and couch pillows could probably be replaced, but really not a big deal. Would stay here again!
