Out of the crowds but near enough to walk or taxi to Bowness. Plenty of parking, great food and lovely clean rooms.
Rooms were clean but in need of a lick of paint. TV could do with an upgrade to.a smart one!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The beds were particularly comfortable, and the bathroom was also large and very well appointed. Everything made our stay feel relaxing and enjoyable.
We would especially like to mention the restaurant. We ate there twice and the food was absolutely delicious. We especially enjoyed the pie and sticky toffee pudding on our first evening, and the Sunday roast the following day was excellent too. Both meals were really enjoyable.
A lovely place to stay, with comfortable rooms and wonderful food. We would definitely be happy to return.
The only small issue we had was with the shower. The shower itself was very good, but we found it a little difficult to adjust the water to the right temperature. Apart from that, everything was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay.
