Room for improvement… hot water not really hot enough (noticed this on two recent visits), coffee is terrible and they only ever leave you two creams for two coffees. Restaurant and staff are amazing. Otherwise room is great.

Staying at this hotel the night before flying out for vacation is a huge treat for us. Super convenient with the skytrain. The hotel has great comfort and a great bar/restaurant to get the vacation excitement started. A little pricey, but as I said, it is a treat.

So you expect a airport hotel to have some sound issues but you don't expect to hear everything and I found that this hotel is very loud. Found it a bit Pricy for the value. Not what I was expecting. 2stars

Great location as the property is connected to Terminal 3. Easy downtown access via UP Express. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Doesn’t get much better than this for an airport hotel.

The bed was comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The service friendly. And the convenience of being at the airport for an early morning flight was good. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Covered Parking is very confusing and hard to access the hotel. Hotel room was very nice, comfortable and nicely renovated.

We had an early flight next day so decided to spend extra to stay in the airport. Express checkin should have been easy but there was 1 person on the desk so it still took us around 30 mins. Our room was noisy, with some kind of banging going on nearby until at 1230am we couldn't stand it and called the front desk. After 1pm sometime we were moved to another room - hassle #1. This turned out to be a noisier room as it was next to the train shuttle and terminal roadway. Every 2 mins the train start/stop noise and car horns honking. We called and were moved to a 3rd room. Got to sleep sometime after 3am and up at 545am. Complained online and were offered Bonvoy points. When we said we weren't members they offered 50% refund. I wrote to challenge this but they had already sent it and refused to discuss Won't be staying there again.

unfortunately, the few hours of my stay at the Gateway Hotel were really frustrating! I arrived close to midnight to spend only 4 hours due to a flight delay. I even told the receptionist my intention of staying only 4 hours , until 4:00 am as the flight was going to take off at 6:15 am. My first surprise was to find a note in the room about the lack of water from midnight to 4 am: the same period of my stay! At 3:30 am when I woke up to shower and brush my teeth the water was dirty. As you can see in the attachments. So there was no water for almost the entire time I was there. I don't believe the entire process was fair with me.

This is not our first stay at thos hotel on our way to Caribbean. Very clean and elegant, steps away from Terminal 3. We will come back!

Other guests were noisy all night long. Kids running in halls late at night. Banging doors and talking in hallways. Hard to get sleep before an early morning flight.

It was great! We always stay here the night before an early flight to the US but this year the hotel appears to have been redecorated and looked very nice.

This hotel has a convenient location but is rather expensive because of that. I was disappointed to see a religious text in the room (noticed this on both of my stays here). It is 2023 after-all and this should be a thing of the past. Guests will be from many different cultures and religions, may have been traumatized by religion in the past, or may be atheist or anti-theists. Please remove from the rooms.

The hotel was somewhat easy to locate from Terminal 1, if you followed the signs. Terminal 1 serves Air Canada and other Star Alliance carriers. The hotel is directly across from Terminal 3, which serves other Canadian carriers such as West Jet, Porter, Air Transat, etc, and most international carriers, so you need to take the elevated train if coming from T1. Check in agent Rosario was very nice, most helpful, and secured an airside view room for me. The room was very clean and fresh as if it had been refurbished recently. No issues to report with it. The main restaurant is just off the lobby; it is pricey but the two vegetarian plates I ordered were good. Beyond it is the breakfast room for those who ordered it. It is buffet service, with fewer options than similar hotels in Europe but much better than most US hotels. . Note: the terminals offer very little food service land-side (pre-security). Overall, a very good experience. If you are departing from Terminal 1, keep in mind to allow extra time to get there.

We had a very nice overnight at the hotel, very pet friendly, and has a nice outside fenced pet relief area. Very nice staff, and we enjoyed wonderful cocktails at the bar. The best part of course is being able to stay right at the airport.

Perfect place to stay near the airport. Worth the price to walk across the bridge to or from your flight. The restaurant is wonderful and has the best burger I’ve ever had! Kids meals are amazing and affordable.

Hotel is convenient for early morning flights. It is very nice. The price is very high for one night. Almost $500 for 2 king beds for one night

Room was clean and staff were all pleasant. One issue was I booked with a prepaid reservation, then was charged twice for the room through the Hotel directly after being told by the front desk staff that it was already paid for and CC was only used for a deposit. Staff were helpful getting it reversed, but this should never happen at baseline.
