Breakfast (the continental) was huge and very good. The room was gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The lift is very hot and claustrophobic on a hot day - but this is understandable due to the age of the building. Our room was joined to another by a locked door, and it was possible to hear another couple through this a few times (even though they weren't being especially loud).

We returned for a second stay at Piazza Pitti Palace and were as pleased as we were during our prior stay a year earlier. This boutique hotel does not disappoint and is close to all places to visit.
