It was a great visit we were close to the ball park and downtown. We spent most our time at the convention center. It was a short drive.

Positives, excellent location and extraordinary nice staff. They tried to accommodate us, by you can't fix all of those issues at once. They did offer to move us out of our room into another, but we were there for only 2 days and didn't find some things out until late at night. I tried to add photos of the carpet issue and the worn lamp, but it's not letting me attach pictures. Everything in the room was worn out,old outdated furniture, uncomfortable beds. The carpet between the bathroom and the main room had staples sticking up. The electrical outlet in the bathroom kept shorting and we had to reset the breaker to turn on the lights it use the outlet. The room smelled of smoke even though it was supposed to be a smoke free room. The refrigerator didn't work, which they did replace. The pictures online were gorgeous and updated, not what our room looked like. They did cover the staples on the floor with tape so it didn't hurt our feet any longer.

Just around the corner from the start and end of a race I ran so very convenient location, though not in the nicest part of town. The room smelled of smoke (not unusual in Nevada, but bad for my allergies). The pho restaurant across the street is s incredible.

Had a decent stay for my daughter's volleyball tournament. Check-in took forever. Main doors locked at night. Good nights stay for the price. Thankfully it was quite. AC we as not turned on until people complained about it.

This was the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. There were only 2 rooms occupied on our floor and it really made it quiet. The beds were comfortable, the room clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The amenities are very minimal.

There is no place to park when you check in, that was a mess, then they tell you to park in a casino parking garage 2 blocks away. Getting to that parking garage is a nightmare because it is all 1 way streets. This is next to the bus station and there is a real bad homless problem, don't leave this place or go to your car alone. There were buttons for certain floors on the elevator that had fallen out, good luck if you got a room on thise floors. The beds and pillows were from the 60s when this place was a casino. The shower was smaller than the shower in an RV. The bathroom looked like it was remodeled by a child not allowed access to tools or materials.

The 5 star rating is based on value and meeting expectations. The Reno Suites is not a 5 star hotel. But it's clean, has a comfortable bed, is in walking distance to everything in downtown Reno, and less expensive than other options. Everyone working there was friendly too. The rooms are somewhat out of date, but that was not an issue for me. Also have to enter the hotel through small door as opposed to main glass doors.

We enjoy staying here. It's easy to find from the freeway. Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Our TV didn't work this time. They moved us to a different room. Only thing they could have done better would to have brought us one of the luggage carriers along with the key to the new room.

The place is good, but the parking place is across the street where the hobos are. I feel unsafe for my car but good thing nothing happen to my car. Bed is a little uncomfortable if your like me who likes soft bed.

The water actually drained this time and we actually had heat for the night so things are looking up as far as for the maintenance but staff is rude and inconsiderate.

Reno Suites was comfortable and well-priced for a hotel downtown. Cleanliness of and condition of the rooms were both great. It was everything I needed and wanted for a short weekend trip. One thing that could be improved was the elevators. The call button for them in the lobby didn’t work very well and it was hard to tell if they were actually coming.

The hotel itself was a great bang for your buck. Rooms are nice and comfortable. The area around the hotel however is not great. Lots of beggers/homeless/druggies hang out around the area and are constantly bothering bystanders. There is lots of garbage, human/dog waste, puke and more all over the sidewalks as well. The parking garage for the hotel is across the street so avoiding the sidewalks isn't really an option. All of the bad isn't really the Reno Suites fault, but more that all of Reno is full of these people wandering the streets.

The location is great, the staff was wonderful. It appears the property is under renovations, which is needed. No coffee service in the rooms, coffee pots, but no coffee. Very limited television, 4 local channels. The price is great also, I would stay again.

We came to Reno to shop the patagoina outlet sale and to do dome winter outdoor activities we were not going to be at the hotel much. so wanted to not spend money on amenities we would not use wed rather put the saving in to some outdoor clothing we eill use gor years. All we wanted a safe clean warm place with comfortable bed. Reno suits checked the boxes,

The property was quite and clean. Elevators were a little tricky and probably needs a renovation. Overall it was good for the price paid. Front doors did not work so entry through a small side door was inconvenient. Could use a renovation and flexibility in payment options was not good. Would have liked to pay for my room in cash but had to use a card.

Toilet seats scrubbed so much, they are damaged and not replaced. No more valet parking. Price was good, location was right for our purpose. There is an a/c unit in the room, but no way to get fresh air. Ice dispenser only worked on one floor. Parking across the street, so gotta unload yourself in the "valet" driveway. Then, whoever you came with can watch your stuff until you park and walk back. Not convienent.

The beds were AMAZING! Staff was very friendly. Not much to do at the hotel or near but worth what you pay! Would definitely stay again. Only downfall is no fan in the bathroom!

I was pleasantly surprised. It is an older hotel and obvious in many ways but clean and affordable. The parking situation is not ideal but we scored a meter spot that doesn’t charge between 9pm-9am. I would stay there again but bring your own cups

The hotel was clean and the service was great. Didnt appreciate how tight the parking was for check in, and having to go across the street to park was inconvenient at times but not too terrible.

The view was amazing! It seems like they stopped providing coffee in the room although the coffee maker was still on the counter. They also didn't provide any plastic drinking cups. I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel that didn't provide a cup. It seemed a little strange.
