Escape to island living in our three bedroom ,one bath remodeled early 1900 beach bungalow. All the comforts of home with full sized kitchen , wifi, laundry and beautiful pool in a tropically landscaped yard. The pool is shared with the two bedroom bungalow next door and is for guests only. Walk to numerous shops and restaurants or hop on the trolley to explore the area from Clearwater Beach to St Pete Beach. The new Holiday Inn Splash Park is only a short walk away. Busch Gardens in Tampa is less than thirty miles from Indian Rocks Beach. Shelling, boating,swimming ,fishing and snorkeling are just a few of the fun things to enjoy here. Watching the sunset is a daily event as well. The owner was awarded the Indian Rocks Beach Action 2000 Cottage Preservation Award for 2020 and is featured on the Florida Stories walking tour. This is definitely a 5 star experience! We stayed with family, 3 couples, and the cottage was perfect for our group. The decor was very Floridian, had WiFi, cottage was super clean, and each bedroom had fans to keep us cool at night. The beach was a two minute walk across the street and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and shops. We loved the private outdoor space and never saw the groups in the other cottage that shared the pool, we seemed to miss each other when we each used the pool most likely because there was just so much to do in the area to keep us occupied, including the beach, restaurants, etc. We were able to check in a few minutes early which was wonderful as our travel plans had us arriving about an hour before check in. The host warns of tight parking but we had two midsize SUVs with plenty of room. Check out was a breeze, there was no extensive list of chores to complete, which was nice compared to other VRBOs we have stayed at. The house and neighborhood had a wonderful chill vibe and we look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you for an absolutely fabulous vacation!

Everything was great from A-Z. Mary Lou and Michael were just an added bonus to this delightful stay. PJs and Crabby Bills are just a stones throw away and you have Kooky Coconut Cafe across the street with great food and homemade ice cream. I’ll definitely be returning. Everything was nice and clean plus very quiet besides the bikes passing through but it stops at 11 👍✌

Had a girls weekend at the cottage and it was absolutely perfect! The property as a whole has a great vibe, the house is quaint and and has so much character. It was clean. The outside and pool are great, it’s so nice that the pool has both sun and shade. Location is perfect to the beach, only like a 5 minute walk. The Kooky Coconut across the street is an awesome little spot for lunch and ice cream! Mary Lou and Michael were so kind and welcoming and had some great recommendations. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely want to do a girls trip here again! Some of our group even wants to go back on family vacations because the two cottages makes it perfect to have your own space but then have the common pool area to hang out. Thank you for some much needed R&R!

Awesome 3 bedroom cottage with it’s own pool just across the street from the beach. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. The host, Mary Lou, was easy reach and super helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Everything you need for a family getaway steps to the beach while having your own private space. Nicely heated pool, cross the street for food and ice cream, steps to beautiful beach sunsets. Highly recommend!

Girls weekend! This is the second time we visited this property in a year. The house has so much character and is perfect for hanging out and relaxing. Located across the street from the beach. It also has a wonderful pool with palm trees surrounding. We always enjoy our stay.

The back yard garden area and pool is really beautiful. and the access to the beach was very convenient. The homes heated pool was very nice on a day that was to cold and windy for the beach. The backyard is so protected by the mature landscaping and still lets the sun hit the pool area.. just perfect

Beautiful house. Comfy beds. One thing to note, the pool is shared with the other cottages. While the host was very nice and accomodating, she was very present throughout our stay.

This cottage was so unique, cozy and delightful! This is an historic cottage, so much of the furniture spoke to the time period. The courtyard foliage was a beautiful setting for the pool. It was quiet even though we shared the area with another cottage; it was across the street from a beautiful patch of beach; close to restaurants, grocery and drug stores. I also must mention "Kooky Coconut" directly across the street which have delicious Cuban sandwiches as well Tacos and burritos. I would be remiss if I didn't mention their scrumptious ice cream. We would return in a heartbeat! This experience was a true treasure for us!

Mary Lou was in contact with me all the time. I had to take my 2 dogs last minute and she was very accommodating. The home itself was a little out dated with decor, but who stays in the house when your literally across the street from the beach. I wasn't happy that I couldn't take my dogs on the beach tho. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to keep tidy.. The pool area was amazing. My little one loved night swimming and the backyard was the perfect mixture of Florida plants. Hopefully next time it won't rain everyday. But had a great time.

This property is so cute and cozy! We enjoyed it so much and the host Mary Lou is awesome and accommodating. We had the chance to meet the owner - who keeps the grounds looking so charming and maintained. We will be back and didn't want to leave.

From the moment we step onto the property we felt like we were kids again. My husband and I grew up vacationing on this beach and spending summers with our families in this area. The house is old school Florida, beautiful and comfortable. The property is the most beautiful we have visited yet. Michael is there every morning water plants and caring for the pool. Friendly and warm are Michael and Mary Lou, they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and more. I can not wait till our next visit as there will be many I hope as this is such a little piece of heaven close to home. Thank you Michael and Mary Lou for sharing your amazing property with us.

We were very pleased with our stay. The house was clean and ready for us. The owner even messaged us that we could check in early when housekeeping was done. The very short walk to the beach was great. Kids love love loved the pool. We will definitely be staying here again.

The house was immaculate and tastefully renovated and furnished. I found myself walking around the house and property admiring all the work and finishing touches that Mike, the owner, has put into this place. The pool and and patio and the tropical plants and trees surrounding both made this property hard to leave at times. And with the beach and the Cooky Coconut just steps away, we got everything we wanted out of this vacation and more. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

We had a wonderful time at Indian Rocks Beach! Mary Lou was so helpful to us ahead of time - We knew the best spots and where to shop! The beach is literally across the street, so we were able to go for a 2-minute walk every night to see the sunset. The cottage itself was perfect and spacious for all of us to spread out. Ceiling fans and air conditioners helped to cool off before sleeping. There was a full kitchen with plenty of pans to cook meals. We ended up cooking dinner on the Weber charcoal grill and ate outside almost every night in the lush patio area. The only thing I wish I would have known was that dogs are not allowed on the patio area by the pool, but are allowed in the outdoor patio by the tables. My little schnauzer is super well behaved but had issues being left inside when we were right outside the door. Beyond that, a wonderful getaway!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, just a block from the beach. The heated pool was so nice and the lush landscaping is delightful. The cottage is so cute and we all decided that we will definitely be back. Mary Lou and Michael were so easy to communicate with and I look forward to seeing what Michael does with the garage cottage he is currently renovating.

We had a great stay in this charming bungalow, conveniently located right by the beach!Cool swimming pool and beautiful landscaping Only minor things were that there is a limited selection of cooking ustensiles and that it can be tricky to get out of the parking spots when you are with 2 cars.Strongly recommend!
