The room was cozy in a silent neighborhood. Commute to downtown was at ease and convenient.

It was okay. Not worth the money I paid

The owner was nice and cordial

Washroom facility was poor. It was the 2 piece powder room that was shared by all clients and for shower we had to use the one and only bathroom in the house that was used by the owner. A shared powder room by 5/6 clients meant often a queue.

I was given a room with an ensuite bathroom. Rhoda is very caring and goes out of her way to serve her guests.

Loud, disorganized, safety concerns, would not recommend

The room was decently comfortable; I appreciated having a kettle

Unsafe- when I arrived, the door was open (door slightly ajar, unlocked) but no one was home except for a fellow tenant I could hear snoring loudly. Because the door is difficult to close at first try and needs someone to show you how, I assume another renter didn’t know how to. I felt like with all the random renters, I couldn’t trust that the front door would be closed (nevermind locked) and it made me nervous about intruders. Very loud- people in the home were very loud, speaking loudly throughout the home, even drilling into the walls at 10 pm. It was a very unrelaxing stay. Very disorganized- I was told I didn’t need a door code because someone would be home to greet me, but when I got there, no one (aside from another sleeping renter) was home. I am travelling and didn’t have a Canadian SIM card so I had no data to message the owners and had no clue when they’d arrive. It took quite a while for her to get there, with me waiting for unknown period of time, and then she gave me the wrong room key. When I left later that day, I couldn’t get back in to my room. On my final day, I was scolded for not eating breakfast in the kitchen, something they was never offered to me and I had no idea was an option. The kitchen is very dirty and seems like it’s only for the home owners, not renters, especially since the ad shows no kitchen photos.

Pleasant

The location is in à very good and nice area of the city

There are 5 rooms for rental in this house, it makes it very noisy when somebody enters late or leaves early in the morning. There was no room cleaning, sheets changing, or fresh towels. I was in the room next to the kitchen, so people were making noise till 1 am and again 7 in the morning.

The hospitality and kindness from the host was great. Bed was comfortable and room felt private.

Nice location. Easy street parking. It seems like people in the neighborhood park in the garage so there’re no cars on the streets. Friendly host. The host kept things clean.

The property is old, the rooms we get are in the basement with little ventilation, it has the sewage smell when you first walk in. it’s very noisy in the morning with people walking and talking upstairs in the kitchen.

Owner was very nice and accommodating and area was nice.

Owner very nice, gave us breakfast and ride to our vehicle.

Did not like our room being down a tall set of stairs that we had to drag all of our luggage down and then back again. Bathroom shared with others was not very clean in shower.

One of the best vacation stays and the kindest host I ever had.

Rhoda is a very kind, caring, and hospitable person. The house always included decent breakfast, and the place was really clean and comfortable. I had no concerns during my 4-day stay at Airnest, and I really enjoyed my vacation as a result. The location is excellent, very peaceful and nice-looking region.

The only minor drawback is that the location is a bit far from downtown, but it's still not hard to get there by bus.

Great location in a quiet neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants and gardens

Great host in a nice neighbourhood. Close to a beltline with city share bikes and near lots of great restaurants and shops. Really comfortable room and clean!

We visited during a heatwave, would have been good to have had a fan in the room for ventilation. Process for locking the door could be much easier.
