This was our first stay at Cartmel Old Grammar. What a pleasant surprise. If your looking for a peaceful location with quality fixtures , fittings and decor that makes you feel spoilt ,look no further. Even though we arrived on an evening when diner is not normally served we were offered a full dining experience and it was fabulous. After diner we took a gentle stroll into the village where there are several good restaurants and pubs if you prefer to eat out. Breakfast included a selection of freshly made continental options, accompanied by a great choice of cooked options.
