Breakfast lovely though it is in addition to the room rate. Room very comfortable, views superb if you like seascapes. Dog friendly ++

The location was perfect for me being a walker and birdwatcher. It was a surprise as the last mile of the drive takes you through an industrial complex but this seems to amplify the surprise as you reach the hotel and take in the fabulous view of the estuary.
There is a full choice of all options for breakfast and the quality is first class.
The evening meal menu is also extensive and will provide for all tastes. The dishes are all special and it is just mouth watering to read the options and the tasted doesn't disappoint. The couple next to me were going into raptures just talking about the dishes available.
The morning coffee was average and maybe a few choices would go a long way.

Nothing much. People were casually courteous and friendly.
The old dirty and stained carpet in my room. The room is too small for the furniture, you couldn't move around properly and everything smelled of wet dogs and damp, except the bedlinen thank goodness.
Food was not what is advertised, Reheated, overcooked dry lamb shank with a very ordinary gravy. Where is the ginger and other lovely flavors advertised? The veg was meagre, three tiny potatoes, three skinny carrots and three canned mini corn cobs.
