LOVED my stay! Audrey was such a gracious host. She made breakfast to order for me every morning and gave me so many great tips on the area. The house and grounds are lovely and it's right across from the ocean and Portencross Castle. Perfect for me traveling solo to an event at Hunterston and just wanting to relax and soak up bonnie Scotland.

La padrona di casa ci ha accolto con gentilezza e familiarità estrema, proponendoci un té in giardino accompagnato da scones appena fatti; avevamo a disposizione non una stanza ma un appartamento nella casa, con una magnifica veduta sul mare, una sala da bagno elegante e spaziosa, un guardaroba e un salottino, il tutto arredato con gusto un po' retro, molto accogliente. Natura intorno riposante e bellissima, un vecchio castello a pochi metri, lunghe passeggiate sulla spiaggia e un giardino milticolore curato nei minimi dettagli. Certo, siamo stati aiutati anche da un meteo favorevole!

Wer Ruhe und das Besondere liebt, ist hier genau richtig. In einem wunderschönen Haus, mit individuell ausgestatteten Räumen, parkähnlichem Garten mit Blick auf Meer und Castle, empfängt Audrey, die Gastgeberin uns mit Tee und selbstgemachten Scones…..und das reichhaltige Frühstück nicht zu vergessen, ließ keine Wünsche offen.
Die Gastgeberin spricht u.a. auch Deutsch.
Es war perfekt.
