Hotel was beautiful, staff very friendly and professional, and the room was nice. I received a complimentary upgrade to a King bed as well. While there was emergency watermain maintenance the night I stayed, the down time was kept to a minimum and that fact was well-advertised in the elevators. Pool and hot tub were good.
It would have been good to receive a heads-up about the maintenance from the front desk, as I imagine some guests would not have noticed the signange and found their plumbing unavaiable late at night.

Great location and very clean room. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower that was great. Overall we were pleased with the accommodations.
Construction work being completed to the outside of the hotel could be noisy in the mornings and the overall costs to stay as the room we had was a basic hotel room with two queen beds…nothing about the room would indicate we were in an historical building. Also, no hand shower in the bathroom - just a rain shower head.

Location
Small dreary room.
Do not use the valet because you won't have access to the stuff in your car until it's returned to you. Self park in a nearby lot instead.
