We didn't have breakfast. We enjoyed the lounge!
We asked for the table for 2 behind the fireplace. The hostess said it wasn't clean. Which was true. It would have been nice if she had it cleaned and offered it to us. We wanted to make a reservation for the table (301) but I guess no reservations are allowed. They do accept reservations in Edmonton and Victoria for the lounge.. It was a minor dislike. We loved the lounge!

The hotel is beautiful, and we really enjoyed the room for the breakfast. Staff was great at the breakfast too, and nice coffee! The room was nice, with very good beds. However, the desk chair was awful, couldn't even sit on it.
The breakfast itself however, for the price, wasn't up to what I expected. Croissants and pastries that weren't fresh baked, scrambled eggs that were from a powder or something, had no flavour at all. Honestly those eggs were bad. Another thing that was a big disappointment was the cost of the valet parking ($60 per night excluding tip!) and the fact that they had no slow chargers for electric cars. The staff was nice, but they told us that all the chargers were out of order. This is a top notch hotel, and slow chargers cost next to nothing. I can't imagine a scenario where they can't get those fixed quickly. Also needing to make an account in order to get the free slow wifi sucks. Not a single plug next to the desk for my computer either.
