Great location and overall pleased with our stay.

The building is older but very clean and the staff was very friendly and efficient.

The codes on the door are like 9 digits long which is a lot but that is a little thing. The building is old but it was clean and a great location!

I won’t be returning

The free breakfast. The free mini golf course across the street.

Parking was a block away. There are no cards to use for entry and the 10 digit code never worked for me. It was a hassle for me and other patrons who were there. no hot tub and the indoor heated pool wasn’t indoor enough

too many people in elevator and a bit too crowded..but the room was nice and I enjoyed my stay. the hotel staff were helpful

Carolinian was a great stay for the money. I would gladly stay again.

All staff I dealt with at Carolinian were polite and helpful. We had an issue with our door code on check-in. The front desk contacted the maintenance staff and asked them to standby, and generated a new code. I returned to the door with the code, which worked, but maintenance was also getting off the elevator behind me to check in and make sure everything was okay. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were a little firmer than my wife and I are used to, but that is an issue of preference. The side pool and lazy river were heated, not exceptionally warm, but plenty enough to swim comfortably in ~70 degree weather. Parking was a little hectic, especially near the 10 AM checkout period. The extra amenities added were a welcome bonus. Breakfast at Magnolia's was very good both mornings of our stay and my girls enjoyed the free round of mini golf across the street. I would definitely stay here again.

I have no true gripes about this stay that are any fault of the business. When I arrived, someone dropped or threw a full can of beer on the ground and it exploded everywhere, including on me. It seemed like there were a good deal of spring breakers in the area. Again, that's no fault of the hotel whatsoever. I am very satisfied with our stay here.

It was a decent few night stay. The perks made up for the bad.

The beach view. The pool was ok kids loved that. The breakfast for a free buffet was pretty good. I also like how we were able to rent dvd for free and watch them in our room through their machine at the hotel.

The employees were ok. The room was not the cleanest but soon as I said something on the app I booked with they called and had them clean it. My code for the room at first didn’t even work either after a long drive and ready to go to bed had to go back down and have them fix it. Went and explained why and if I could get a bag as I forgot one for the wet bathing suits to go home in, the employee was rude and said I didn’t need to know why. But for a few night stay was ok.

Very nice, clean room in great location

The room was nice and clean. The indoor pool was heated. located right on the beach. Free breakfast buffet across the street.

Won't stay at this hotel again

The location of the hotel and the breakfast.

The people that was at the front desk the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way there was sheetrock dust all in the shower the bathroom fan cover was laying on the sink with an outlet cover. And when I checked in the women at the desk wouldn't let me because the card I used to book the room wasn't in my name it was in the business name

Could have been better.

The view was amazing of the Ocean, Sunrises and Sunsets

The mattress were horrible. I had a lamp that didn't work and the plug and either did my DVD player. My toilet went out of order and had to request maintenance. Bed and bathroom had long brunette hair in it🤢 The hinges on the bathroom door was super rusty

No breakfast options on site .. it would've been nice to have coffee, cereal, fruit in the lobby instead of walking across the road to a restaurant that was quite crowded.

The front desk staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. Lauren is exceptional!!

One first timer

We love that we can get an oceanfront room at the remarkable price and it was right in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

Check out time was our only issue. Most hotels give you a 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 noon check out. The Carolinian requires that you check out at 10:00 a.m. which is a bit early.

Breakfast at the Magnolia Buffet was outstanding. It was the best part of my stay.

Ripoff!!

I’ll never stay in Myrtle Beach again. Price shown per night on website more than doubled for BS fees!!$680.00 for two nights is ridiculous and a rip off!! I’m gonna call the commerce dept in Myrtle beach and complain. I’ll find somewhere else to spend my next getaway!!

No complaints about our stay

The room was clean and the staff was very kind. We didn't use the pool, as we came for the beach, so I can't speak on the pool area except for that it looked well kept up. The beach access was perfect as well as the view. The breakfast the next day was wonderful also.

Excellent Vacation!
