This is a very good place to stay. I am sensitive smells and this place is very clean and smells great. It does not smell old and it does not smell have an overpowering smell from the cleaning. Everything looks clean and recently renovated. Our room was quiet. The breakfast was good. And the staff was very friendly and helpful but not in a fake annoying way. The price was extremely reasonable for the quality. This is where I would stay again if I were ever in St. Louis.

The location of the hotel is convenient near the downtown.
The beds were comfy. Bathroom was clean.
The breakfast was adequate and had a nice variety.
The room was just okay. The hardwood floor wasn't very clean.
The first suite they gave had a fire alarm with missing battery which was continuously chirping. As a matter fact, we could see that the fire alarm was opened and left without a battery. We complained to the reception, and the lady at the reception (who was genuinely concerned about our situation) told she doesn't have anyone to fix it at that time (it was a weekday evening). However, she managed to give us another room in about 30 minutes. So, kudos to her!
