Don't stay here

Nothing there is nothing good about this hotel don't stay here

They charge a $100 deposit and then give ya this little tiny piece of paper and if you loose it they won't give ya your deposit back

The door lock was broken as well as most of the furniture, we were willing to take the stairs for an “upgraded room”, that was terrifying to be in. I We had a COVID emergency alert and the front desk was shut down. The only way to pay for a security deposit was with cash and a rip off ATM in the lobby. Gross. Do not recommend.

Not comfortable

Because of not comfy, I checked out early, but they did not refund me. The Internet not working, and the wifi password that they gave is not working.

Late checkout costs more than 2 day stay.

Everything was great until we wanted to extend our stay,however we were having issues with our cash app account as it was down so no. Access to load funds was unavailable. We were in touch with property management during a 3 hr time frame while we were working to pay for extension unfortunately it was unsuccessful. Management kept our $100?deposit at the end because we were late checking out due to cash app failure. The management after telling us no problem for this 1 time late checkout still kept our $100 deposit charging $25 for evrry hour late. I will not return to that property.

Won’t come again

Poor service, room is not cleaned and also bathroom are pretty dirty. I need a new towel and they said it’s not available until 10:00 am. When I tried to call hotel, no one answered

people were nice but this place was gross

that it was close to the event i was attending

my TV didn’t work, shower was filthy and the knob was very hard to turn on, i had a non smoking room and the comforter had burned marks all over it, as i sat on the bed to put my socks and shoes on the bottom of my feet were filthy black, i had to wash my feet in the sink and walked with a towel to put my shoes on. all night i could here commotion outside and people getting arrested. i felt uneasy about the area and as we were leaving i saw huge cockroaches, i will never again go for a cheaper room so disappointed 😢

This place is an absolute nightmare, stay away.

It was within walking distance to the Salt Lake City Fairgrounds, and a delicious restaurant called The Red Iguana.

Everything was dirty, the sheets and towels were all stained, the TV didn’t work, the shower faucet was hanging off the wall, fixtures were rusty, the door didn’t lock, and they asked for a $100 cash deposit upon arrival.

It was amazing but could be better with some updates and renovations on a few amenities.

Room was amazing, beds were neat and in order.

tub needs to be updated, phone needs to be replaced, one drawer was on the floor and not in its proper place.

Asked for service for TV and the employee told me it was do to snow but there was no snow on dish didn't want to fix issue breakfast was very cheap and did not need to be monitored it should be there for your convenience also open for condiment at night

Terrible stay

Checking out was the best part

Room door would not lock and I was told nothing can be done. Room light would not turn off I had to unscrew light bulb. Terrible experience

Absolutely nothing

The place was disgusting! Sheets stained door had been kicked in and not repaired. Wires hanging from the ceiling. The towels were dingy. Check-in was extremely slow. Nobody was allowed in the lobby. One clerk on duty was taking 10+ minutes per guest and there were 4 in front of us. To top it off they required a $100 cash deposit. This was definitely not mentioned on Booking.com. What was listed as an amenity was a free airport shuttle. Of course they offered no such thing.

clerk was abrupt and short tempered. felt was inconvenient to check me in. when I asked why cash deposit and not card, all he could say was I’d get a receipt. then when I questioned again he blurts out I have an attitude and walked away. we didn’t get checked in and had to find a new place to stay.

Not happy with this hotel

The front desk area was clean and decent.

The hotel keys that were issued couldn't open the room door, and when the front desk clerk was informed, he stated he would send maintenance to the room. The front desk clerk then changed his mind about sending maintenance and met me at the hotel room door. The front desk clerk tried to open the room door with the key cards, and to his surprise, the room door didn't open. The night clerk then proceeded to open the hotel room door with a master key to let us in, and I informed him that we would need a key so that we would have access to the room because we needed to go and do some errands. The night clerk stated that we could come by the office when we got back so he could let us in. I was not happy with his suggestion at all, I felt that I was not paying to rent a hotel room so I could be inconvenienced, and to have to wait for someone to let me in everytime I came back to my hotel room. I requested to have my hotel room changed, and the night clerk stated that there were no available rooms. The night clerk asked to give him 45 minutes so he could figure out what was wrong with the room door. I sat in the parking lot, watching him trying to figure out what was wrong with the door, and then he finally gave up. My husband and I were not happy with the situation and decided to cancel our stay at the Econo Lodge Salt Lake City Utah due to the hotel not being able to accommodate our reservation. Before arriving at the Econo Lodge Salt Lake City location, we were on the road for about 6 hrs, traveled about 400 miles. We were tired, needed a shower and dinner. After canceling the reservation at about 8 pm, we then decided to drive the 6 hrs 421 miles back home to Las Vegas, NV, thus cutting our anniversary weekend short because Econo Lodge Salt Lake City Utah couldn't accommodate my reservation. My reservation was for 11/12/2022, and I still have not yet received a refund for my paid reservation. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

the picture are nothing like it is!! place was so bad we didn’t even sleep in room and refused to give us a refund pillows had stains bathroom looked like a oil field men had just showered. This is disgusting and more that they use these photos! I tried to upload and won’t let me, go to google and look at actual photos. that’s it they haven’t taken them down! and on top we had to put down 100$ CASH deposit and had to go back the next morning even tho we didn’t stay.

Dirty, rude staff, and made me uncomfortable too stay during my trip.

The location sucked, there were construction going on and it was pretty sketchy.

The staff were rude and some of their policies were outrageous, like $25 per towel if there was a stain left from us? Hell no, I didn't even touch their towels from fear of being charged for a crease. Plus the room wasn't the cleanest with dirty walls, missing/loose lights, and pealing bathtub. I'm never going back too stay there again.

Was close to why I was there.

Place was a disaster. Holes in walls. Holes in doors. Broken drywall. Shower faucet falling off. Previous Leaks in ceiling never repaired.

The room door had been kicked in. Outlets did not work. The bathroom did not have a shower curtain and mold all over. Craters in the beds, food crumbs and sticky substances all over the desks and furniture.

Very poor

The receptionists gave us a room that was already occupied the first time. Then the second time it was again a room that was occupied and the third time the lock wouldn’t unlock with the keys we had so now we’re three rooms in with no luck then finally the fourth one worked. The room hadn’t been swept or the bathroom cleaned. My fiancé and I weren’t impressed.
