Our stay was pleasant

The best part of the place was the staff. Friendly and gave some great advice on places to eat as well as great cocktails at the 5 o’clock hour

What we did not like is that the place is very tired and needs some love. Paint is old and tired. The place has great bones and could be a wonderful place to stay if it were updated. The pool deck needs to be redone it currently has a blue out door carpet covering the concrete deck. The carpet is very old and out dated. A little TLC could bring this place back to its former glory. Lose the theme rooms and go with a more mid century or 1930s decor and you have a winner. It is a shame to see the place so run down and falling apart.

love that it is “old school”. Small private property. the bed was very comfortable!! THIS IS TRULY A HIDDEN GEM IN THE DESERT!!!

led to believe that there was breakfast as well. there is not. very low water pressure. I think that they could have fixed the plantation shutters so that they worked and maybe put a curtain over the window in the “nook” for darkening the room. The ceiling fan is extremely noisy if turned on past low.

This place must have been amazing in the 50's. Too bad it it has not changed with the times

hot tub and pool was nice. layout was nice

bath tub was dirty, tiles are broken, grab rail was broken, grime on the tiles, shower curtain disgusting, AC did not work until I cleaned out the filters which was disgusting job. This property could be a gem if someone put in the effort in maintenance, renos etc.. I am sure some of the jobs are harder than others. pillow cases held together with safety pins. fireplace shut off at 1 minute. would randomly come back on At the price paid, I expected a whole lot more.

The marketing videos certainly didn't match up to what we experienced.

No breakfast provided at this bed and breakfast

No staff on site, room was not clean, no turn down sevice. High cost for literally just a place to sleep.

Disappointed and misrepresented

Comfortable bed

The listing showed a happy hour and breakfast that did not exist. We did not interact with any staff as we were given a code to get into the property and communicated via text. We had to wait 30 minutes to get the text to check in despite informing them of our arrival time. The phone number listed for property does not answer. The property is in disrepair and quite dated.

A nice base for travel to Palm Srprings

Breakfast was not available as had been advertised. I cannot comment on staff because there were none there (but I did receive a few texts). In fairness - COVID still around. Check-in way easy (codes for doors). Location pretty good - easy to walk to restaurants. Internet worked fine. Overall a nice place to hang out for a few days.

Misleading

It was private, almost too private. There was no staff there at all. The paint on the walls was chipping and it looked as if someone just threw it together really quick

They make it look a lot better that it really does. I feel as though I was mislead. I did not get what I paid for and I will never go back there.

Clean rooms & pool, close to downtown, old building/rooms, no onsite staff, decent value for PS

Room and pool area were clean and location was fairly central. Good value for PS. Small number of rooms with courtyard, pool and spa.

Building is run down and needs a facelift. The rooms, in particular the bathrooms need updating. No one on-site to help with anything. It was dead…almost no one there.

Delightful.

It is a true 1950s hotel - while my room wasn’t like the pictures - it was very cute with the stagecoach theme. It was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever been in. They kept me totally informed before my arrival. Unfortunately i didn’t discover the breakfast part until i left - would have liked a little placecard in the room of the times.

The exterior entrance - it thru me off a little. . . But very secure.

Idea of themed rooms

Everything! What a rip off. I booked this hotel with the promise of a bed abs breakfast, happy hour and 5 star reviews. Well apparently there are new owners because a day before I received a text stating they discontinued the breakfast ( too late to cancel), no staff on property EVER( all I received were texts), dirty rooms and pool, for $300 a night. Total scam. Do not stay here.

Loved it! We will be back for another stay!

I really liked the fact that we had the place to ourselves for the first 24 hours! The pool &hot tub were great, the room was great, the bathtub was awesome! Close to food spots. The no contact was nice (even though it was unexpected) the music outside was nice ..the floaties for the pool was nice to have access to. The size of the place was perfect.

The barking dog behind our room was a bit annoying during sleeping hours. The thunderstorm that came through was great; but.. it ruined the hot tub so we couldn’t use it the last 12 hours of our stay 😩.. and it appeared to be no attempt to fix it right away. I booked this spot due to ALL of the good reviews about the hosts and the food only to find out after we arrived that the owners changed just a month ago so no food, no hosts. That was a real bummer. It should be clearly noted for future guests that these services are longer offered. That it is more of an Air B&B now, which is fine but needs to be clear when booking. Donald was very nice and helpful. the place is lovely & we would like to return in the future.

The host and the breakfast will have us coming back

I choose this place because I had seen how many people raved about the breakfast and it truly lived up to reviews! The breakfast was amazing and the staff made it so much better. They greeted us as we arrived, gave us a drink well we relaxed by the pool and they made breakfast for us every morning. The breakfast was too good! Ive recommended it to a few friends already and they've loved it!

Relax at the Rendevous!

We have stayed at the Rendevous in Palm Springs many times. It keeps getting better!

The property is special. No complaints!

We had a fantastic stay and felt very taken care of!

The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. It was about a 25 min walk to Tommy Bahamas and I enjoyed every step of the way!

I'd suggest more shade sails next to lounger chairs so pool can be enjoyed more during day

Fun vintage retro motel with an excellent breakfast included.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Palm Springs Rendezvous Bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Silver Screen room. It had a jacuzzi tub and was adorned with popular movie posters from the 1950's. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring the area. The bed was super comfy and the 24 hour pool and hot tub were perfect. Each day started with a different yummy breakfast and the evening happy hour at the pool was fun. John and Carlos will do everything needed to make your stay the best experience possible. We will definitely return. Mitch and Claudia

The service was exceptional. The room was clean comfy and adorably decorated. The breakfast was delicious and filling. We will definitely be returning.
