It was my husband’s birthday and I send them a request to have some surprise. They left some balloons, snacks and swag in the bedroom, it was super cool. He loved it! Location is excellent, you can walk anywhere, it’s between the Millenium Park and the Riverside Walk. Looks like it was just renovated. The bar on the rooftop is very fun as has amazing views. Bedroom is very complete. Amenities are very good. Employees were all great. Noise is low considering location. We would definitely stay with them again.

Location and staff. Happy hours. Free drinks and food
Disappointed that a hotel associated with sport illustrated had few TV’s at the bar and TV’s did not have nfl network
Toilet fill valve constantly stuck causing toilet to run constantly

Excellent location. Great bonus to have a free bar and bar games such a pool ice hockey table, shuffleboard and outside patio area. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Not having daily room cleaning service or a towel change did not bother us at all. Any time we did need a towel change, service was prompt [within minutes]. Work was ongoing in the hotel but we were not disturbed at all and were not even aware of ongoing work until half way through our break.
Outside traffic noise including a train which passed near our room. Outside work was ongoing in the street but we understand that this is temporary. Also we witnessed a few altercations outside between some local 'characters'.

The location was convenient and the coffee shop attached was good.
There were no amenities aside from the coffee shop which had limited hours. No other food or drink. Also, when I checked in I was hard pressed to schedule a time share appointment. I asked for a late check out, ONLY if I participated in the marketing appointment. I said no at least 10 times. This hotel was significantly over priced for the amenities offered.
