We booked last minute, the house was nice. Close to the beach, just a short 2 block walk. The beds were absolutely awful though. Everyone hated their beds. You could feel every single spring, The beds get a 0/10.

Convenient location so close to the beach. The apartment was not well kept the sofas and chairs were in need of cleaning. Comfortable bedrooms and clean bathroom. On a very nice quiet street … no noise of traffic, music or other humans. Glad we stayed in this area.

Couldn't have been a better location without being on the beach. Quiet residential neighborhood with little traffic and many walkers. Just two short blocks to the beach where the sand was white, powdery and cool to your feet. A good place to rekax abd keave your worries behind. Close to everything ftom Great Clips to cute boutiques to out-of-the ordinary dining.

Nice beach cottage, but the AC stopped working

This property is perfect for a beach getaway. We had four guests and it was just the right amount of space. The house was clean and well kept. We stayed for a total of 6 nights, 7 days. The AC stopped working on Friday night (it was 86 degrees in the house) and the property manager came Saturday afternoon to take a look at it. He told us there wasn't anything he could do and that he would come back the next day (Sunday) with a mobile unit. Thankfully, the AC started working again Sunday early afternoon and we got it cooled down to 75 inside. I didn't tell the property manager is started working again, and he never even showed up with the mobile unit (so for all he knew, we were still sitting in an 86 degree house). On Monday morning the AC guy came and fixed it and he even asked us where the mobile AC unit was, and was surprised when we told him the property manager never brought it over. I know it is stated in the rental agreement that there is no compensation for broken AC and the property manager told us that "it happens in Florida all the time." However, it is very unenjoyable to be on vacation sitting in a house that is as hot as the outside temperature. It also states in the rental agreement that you can't put the AC lower than 73 or it will cause damage to the unit. So my question is, why not replace the unit? It seems like this company would rather just rent the space with a broken unit rather than caring about the comfortability of the people renting the property. Other than the 48+ hours with no AC, our stay was enjoyable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time using VRBO and staying on AMI! We love the clean, huge beaches with mostly powdery sand. Beach House became our favorite restaurant. We are coming back next year for spring break. Our rental was a cute house just a short walk to the beach and free trolley system. It was pretty tight for five of us and it needs some updates but it was fine and I understand the owners will be doing some updates.

The kitchen was pretty well equipped and everything was in working order. I would recommend this place as it is very close to the beach(a short 2 blocks). Also, the street was very quiet and the neighbors friendly. It was very easy to check-in too with a keypad. The washer and dryer were also a plus.

Reviewer Comments: Ein gemütliches kleines Häuschen, 5 Gehminuten vom Strandzugang und der Trolleyhaltestelle entfernt. Die Ausstattung ist ein bisschen old School und ein weißes Sofa nicht unbedingt optimal für ein Ferienhaus, aber alles war sauber und genügend Küchenausstattung auch vorhanden.Ein paar mehr fluffige Handtücher für das (doch recht kleine) Badezimmer wären nett gewesen. Insgesamt kann man sich mit 3 Erwachsenen gut aufhalten. Nett ist auch die kleine Terrasse, auch hier könnten allerdings neue Stühle zu mehr Wohlbefinden beitragen.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took the family (Husband & I, our 2 boys aged 4 and 1.5) for a long weekend in Brandenton Beach, and we loved it! Great location (2 blocks from beach), very clean and comfortable apartment with 2 separate bedroom, a nice sized living area / kitchen, very cosy front deck (fenced too which was perfect for us). It's not the most fancy place, but just what you need. We had everything we needed, even beach chairs and things for the kids to play in the water. We'll come back next summer!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was fairly well appointed and in a good location. As frequent users of Home Away and VRBO, I was very disappointed to discover few options in the way of amenities. The home had a half roll of toilet paper, no coffee, few towels, dishes, cups and paper towels. Not to mention, no samples for shampoo, body wash or laundry soap. I've never run into this with a rental. They are small details which make all the difference in one's stay.
