Located in Avila Beach, this charming condo for $624 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. *The Avila Beach area is undergoing several construction projects, including the construction of a new home at a neighboring lot. Even though SLO County noise ordinance is enforced, from time to time guest may experience construction noise. SUNSETTER is a 2 minute walk to the beach and downtown Avila Beach. The condo is located in one of the best gated community locations - Ocean 17. Entering the home at street level, there is a large jr suite (queen bed+twin/sleeper chair) with fireplace, TV, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom. Also at street level is the 2 car garage and full size laundry center. Up a flight of stairs is the main living area with fireplace, gourmet kitchen with stainless-steel Viking appliances, breakfast bar and master suite. From the kitchen is panoramic mountain views with balcony. The front balcony has a propane BBQ, and seating for 2. The front balcony is located off the kitchen making it convenient for meal prep and serving. Just off the living room is another balcony with a spiral staircase that leads to a spacious rooftop deck with mountain views and ocean view. The rooftop is perfect for lounging or entertaining. The BBQ center has a built-in mini refrigerator, gas BBQ. SUNSETTER is a corner unit in the complex, once the builder's private unit with many extra touches and amenities. A 2 minute walk to the beach, and easy stroll to Avila Beach Golf Course and Bob Jones biking and walking trail. Suitability: couples retreat, family vacation, 2 stories, end-unit (corner San Luis St & First St), rooftop and balcony BBQ's, ocean views, 2 queen beds, twin/sleeper chair, 2 car garage, full size laundry center, stocked kitchen, linens provided, no smoking, no pets.

We loved every aspect of this home! The location alone makes it a wonderful place to stay but in addition the home has every creature comfort imaginable. It is decorated beautifully and is warm and cozy. Can’t say enough good things about our stay there! Will most definitely be staying there again!

The unit is very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was very well stocked with all that we needed. Access to the beach and the stores is very convenient and close. The only problem we was access into and out of the garage for the second car. The entrance is very close to the gate and there were trash cans obstructing the entrance to the garage. There were a few minor repairs I needed while we were there. They were handled within a very short time by maintenance.

Overall good experience. Great location. Only issues were master bathroom sink would not drain. Cobwebs on the master bedroom ceiling. And light switches had to be covered, too bright.

The Sunsetter - 305 Fir was perfect. The unit exceeded our expectations! It was well maintained and was well stocked with everything we needed. In particular the kitchen had as many gadgets and tools that we have at home. We golfed two mornings and also visited local sites. The charming downtown was steps away, too! We hope to come back--it was the perfect little getaway!

Quality property in Avila. Responsive management as well - the washing machine did not work and, while repairs were quickly underway, the management team took our laundry offsite, washed it, and returned it folded neatly. We will be back!

We had a wonderful little get-a-way weekend at our stay at Sunsetter in Avila Beach. The views from the home are wonderful. We enjoyed the use of the kitchen, BBQ and played cards on the upper deck. In the morning we'd wake up and take the 1 minute walk down to Kraken Coffee which was excellent. Our host Terri was excellent and extremely responsive. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The property management was easy to reach and communicate with. The washer wasn’t working, and we had packed just enough to wash during our stay. This was inconvenient but they did offer to wash for us and did a good job. We would definitely rent this property again!

It was the perfect relaxing vacation, just a block from the kid friendly beach and close to restaurants and an excellent coffee shop. Avila Beach is in close proximity to several attractions for children and we took advantage of These offerings.

Our family had a great stay at this property, we loved the location to the beach, great restaurants and coffee shop. The condo is clean and well equipped and included paper & kitchen supplies which is something you don't always see at other properties. The only downside was the beds, they are very soft and we unfortunately would not return for this very reason. I think the mattresses are due an upgrade! Sleep is so important especially when you are on vacation!

Had a wonderful time. The house is fantastic. I wish the TV had regular cable streaming was a pain. Also would be awesome to have had a key to the front door. It’s really expensive, I would stay more if it wasn’t so expensive but overall loved it all!!!

The only thing I would add, we have two members of our family who have fear of heights and since this is a unit on the outside, the staircase if very open. they couldn't make it to the roof deck. Just a warning for those with serious fear of heights. but we didn't need it, views great from small deck and living room

The location of the house is excellent and the views from the top floor are amazing. House was well-stocked for all our needs. But, we found that the control of the lights was not simple. One of the downstairs lights could only be turned off from upstairs. It is a very sophisticated lighting system. It took six days for the lighting issues to be repaired. The owner was involved with this problem, which was very appreciated. Unfortunately, a couple of plumbing issues with the downstairs bathroom never got repaired. The sink drain was very slow, and the tub/shower lever that controls the water temperature of the shower fell off, and the water temperature was very difficult to regulate. The drain stopper in the upstairs bath hand sink did not work and was not repaired. The exhaust fan in the upstairs bath did not work and it also was never repaired. The vanity lights didn't work upon arrival, however, the owner herself replaced the light bulbs at the end of the first week. All of these issues were mentioned on the repair document we completed on the first day of our arrival.

Outstanding beach home. Park two cars in garage & never a need to leave. A block from Avila beach. Perfect beach to relax on & body surfing opportunities abound. The roof top view at sunset is spectacular. BBQ’d every night and enjoyed the views. Truly a special place.
