Superb

The staff were excellent, responsive and accommodating.The hotel manager was great to chat with and had great information about the place and very responsive, helpful and friendly. There was a nice peaceful atmosphere around the place. The pool and the lounging areas were excellent. The room was quite large, which is always good, with a lounging large balcony. They had free coffee and tea throughout the day.

The toilet did have a window to let natural light in. The restaurant beside the hotel wasn't great, I got a 4 cheese pizza, which tasted and looked like the pizza was bought from the supermarket and not freshly made. I didn't try the other items on the menu, so they might be better quality and taste.

Best hotel

Breakfast was great. The hotel is so quit, there aren’t too many rooms. The view from the hotel is gorgeous! The hotel made our entire stay.

Very good

Everything. The location was perfect, only 30mins away from the airport, and around 35-40 mins from Palma. Our room offers a nice mountain/vinyard view. The hotel itself has a vintage vibes, but very neat and clean. The bed was the comfiest bed we’ve had above all the hotels we have stayed in Mallorca. They serve very good breakfast fresh from the local market. The staff were really kind and approachable. :)

Brilliant. Great for cyclists. Would come back again

The hotel is well designed with fantastic views. the staff were fantastic. Perfect for a cycling holiday. Very accommodating with the bikes and in a great location to access some fantastic routes.

The only issue was that the duvets provided had a stain. However staff were very quick to reciting and offered decent compensation

Very charming hotel

Its a remote place very quiet to sleep. I enjoy the breakfast although natural juices would be even better. Comfortable beds.

The swimming pool was dirty.

Luxurious, beautiful and peaceful - highly recommended

Beautiful location, very friendly staff and the hotel was super cosy with a great swimmingpool. Each morning we had a great breakfast on the terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We really enjoyed ourselves and can highly recommend !

Exceptional

The people were extremely helpful, especially Jaun, for being for being so kind and helpful, making you feel right at home. Thank you. It is a place I would definitely visit, very relaxing and the people of the town were also so friendly.

definitely a very good option to stay!

+nice big room +parking +friendly and efficient staff +more or less calm +fair prices

-pillows: some seed or plume pillow would be nice. -no bed sheets, only thin white cover. -breakfast - I know it’s not easy to serve everyone’s taste. i would prefer just one good dish instead of 10 options in cheapest quality. organic, local, seasonal. instead of kiwis from South Africa and cheap Hero sugar marmalade one good scrambled egg with fresh bread or a rich musli bowl. my personal opinion.

pleasant quiet stop over

good size room with its own terrace. Welcoming, friendly staff who were very helpful. Lovely views, a good sized pool and outdoor area.

Perfect start to our Majorcan holiday, wish we'd booked for longer.

Very helpful and friendly manager and staff. Beautiful location and well appointed property in keeping with a Majorcan village house Lovely pool. Terrific breakfast in a beautiful setting. Very attractive villages nearby. Peaceful rural area hard to find in Majorca nowadays.

A four star rated hotel which is approaching a need for some attention to detail after 20 years.

Pretty typical continental breakfast.Boiled eggs ,nothing cooked to request.Cereal selection could be more healthy..Coco pops /cornflakes. View from room very scenic.Quiet hotel as hoped for.Staff very friendly.Good place for some relaxing.

Unaware of the partial open plan to room which leaves the toilet somewhat open plan and not closed off for privacy.I think this should be stated clearly. Nice big room but bathroom fittings getting a bit dated and ready for upgrade.Chrome on taps /shower etc not cleaned or polished.Water leaks badly onto floor from shower head. Pool area again could do with some further planting and filtration system in pool did not appear to be working..possibly blocked.

everything was perfect

The setting and ambiance were wonderful, The property itself is interesting and well cared for. Our host was charming and helpful. It was great to have free access to coffee at all times of day. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and we offered cooked eggs as well as the usual selection from a continental breakfast buffet. It was pleasant to eat breakfast in the shade on the large patio. In short, we loved it.

Very good

The one concern we had with our stay was the availability to get a cab. This is a common problem on the island, but the further away from big towns you are the harder it is to secure a cab in a timely manner. Nothing at all the hotel could have done about this, but just something for travellers to be aware of.

- Joan and team are very kind and helpful - the views are very nice - it’s quite and peaceful - good value for money - clean

- There was almost no cold water in the bathroom, low water pressure and the shower heads need to be cleaned. Taking a shower was a bit of a challenge. - the location is in the very small village Moscari. There is no shops/restaurants/bars you you need a car to drive to Alcudia. - A closed garbage bin in the room would be handy as there will be lots of ants if you put food or garbage in the room. - Breakfast quality should be higher.

choose this place for a relaxing holiday

A very nice quiet place! Our room was very clean, our terrace had a really nice view, our bed was very comfortable. Mountains are not far from this hotel. I don't think some of the negative comments here have real reasons. Hotel Can Riera deserves a rating between 9.4-9.5

Moscari trip

The views from the hotel was spectacular. The two brothers who are front of house were both very helpful.

Due to Covid no restaurants in Moscari were open. The hotel did not have a bar or restaurant other than for breakfast. There was 1 bar that did simple food open or it was a drive to the next town.

A room with a view

Very much space, large terras, nice goodies. Breakfast in the sun, we loved it! Nice towards kids.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Maybe instruction about how to drive, where to park, would have been nice... since Waze doesn’t know most of the addresses in Mallorca...
